I didn't enjoy the book, but I think it could be adapted to a film. I just wouldn't go see it. :) I think his ego-centered lifestyle could easily be played, and with him being on the run some might find it enjoyable. I found myself struggling to connect to any of the characters and never really did, so maybe a movie could revamp some of that and make the story better.

Of course yes because McDowell is as good as anyone or anything and if the director is a professional then I see no reason why that shouldn't happen

Definitely, it could be told in a form of a movie because it is the matter of life and the challenges which accompany it. Therefore, people who are in the surgical or medical field would enjoy it the most as a movie.

I personally haven't read the book, but reading many reviews and discussions on the story, I would say yes, I could easily see it turned into a feature film.

I could definitely see this book as a movie. People seem to like these complex characters that have many aspects to them. The plot is also engaging. I think it could also make a good TV series as well.

Yes, it'd make an interesting movie since it has a solid plot, and the scenes are entertaining.

I do want to see the novel in the big screen, but I think they have to deliberate what should be included and expounded about the story. For example, they have to show how did Hiram really escaped the prison and how did he get the money afterwards. They can explore the story as a life of a fugitive with a lot of flashbacks.

It is my opinion that just about anything can be a movie, whether done well or not. I think this book raises some important moral conflicts that many of us have opinions on. It could be a good film for stirring debate.

Not every book should be a movie. I haven't read this one but I don't think I'd watch the movie either.

If it follows the book closely enough and has actors that really fit the characters any book could be made into a good movie. it all just depends really on how the director directs it and who is part of the crew.

The book would surely make for a wonderful movie. Some of the scenes would be especially entertaining.

Yes. McDowell's character has different dimensions and is portrayed in different circumstances. This will be a wonderful movie which can portray the emotions of a person. The description of the places in the story will help to picture the movie in a better way.

The turns and twists found in this book qualifies this book to be a movie.

I've read many reviews of this book, and it seems like it could be a movie, just based on the number of twists present.

Let me venture my assessment with due respects for dissenting opinions. If I were a movie producer, my opinion would be that Mcdowell would not gross fairly in the box-office. There are no sizzling action, daring stunts, or epic achievements. However, this could be applied to soap operas, with parental guidance on sensitive issues.
