It is brave of the author to share her horrific childhood abuse by her stepfather. By the title of the book, I am glad that she is able to share how she was healed by love and by God.

This is an inspirational memoir that highlights abuse and the amazing survival story of the author. The book has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review that highlighted the best the book had to offer. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars. Congrats @godisthecure1 for the BOTD.

Love is the answer, God is the cure by Aimee Nikolov is emotion filled story on the maltreatment the author faced and her bravery in dealing with the situation. A non fiction book skillfully written with little or no grammar and typo errors. I rate it 4 out of 4. I recommend it to people of all classes to learn from the lessons contained.

While I admire Aimee's courage and optimism, I don't enjoy reading about horrible events like this. Getting away and surviving is admirable, but this topic is generally too dark for me to enjoy.

This sounds like a wonderful read, but how graphic are the descriptions of what happened to Aimee? If a lot of the abuse happens "on screen" so to speak, it might be something I'd steer clear of.

Aimee's life brings out the worst in human nature and readers can only praise her courage in writing about her experiences, how her sisters helped her out, and provide both warning and advice for others in her situation.

The author tells her story of pain and abusement she experienced in her teenage and how she found her true love. The story seems to be quite interesting and worth reading.

This book sounds like a beautiful but devastating tale, taking in a woman's recovery from abuse that should never have happened, and her fight to see her abuser brought to justice. I applaud the author's bravery in telling the world what happened to her, and even now, thinking of such a case brings me almost to tears. I'm sure the book would leave me the same way!

Love is the Answer, God is the Cure, by Aimee Cabo Nikolov, promises to be a powerful memoir on fighting off, fleeing from, surviving and overcoming domestic violence, rape and molestation. That Aimee's biological mom was a denier in this tragedy doubled the horror. What touches me is how Aimee seeks strength in her faith. Her vision of the faces of Jesus and Mary on a tree may be explained by others from a scientific, psychological point of view. But I, being a lapsed Catholic who nevertheless, regularly prays for enlightenment and guidance, empathize with her on this. I believe that everyone will have a chance to experience a miracle in life, regardless of faith and beliefs. Besides this, there is her stirring true story of salvation, rehabilitation and finding true love. Having read the Amazon sample, I agree with JessNWheeler's review that the book is written and paced well.

Sounds like a heart breaking story, and I admire Aimee's strength and courage through it all. I hope there isn't much reference to God in this story based on the title I am turned off (not a fan of books that reference religion) but the plot sounded interesting. I added to my interested in reading shelf for now.
