After reading the review, I am definitely adding this to my shelf. Parents should protect their children from such predators no matter who they are.

I cannot understand why there people so cruel and hurt those they are supposed to protect. Also why do the mothers not believe their child. This sounds like a powerful and intense story. Thanks for your review!

Excellent review and quite engaging. It seems like a family tragedy brought about by a myopic perception of devastating reality. I have taken this into my bookshelf and plan to read.

Thanks for your thoughtful review. Aimee's young life sounds horrific. I am amazed that she was able to come out of such an abusive environment through the power of faith. The power of God's love and healing is real. This sounds like an interesting book to read.

:techie-studyingbrown: I am glad that Aimee was able to use this book to get her family's story out. I'm always saddened by these types of stories, yet always encouraged as they always end with some type of healing. I'm sure I will eventually read her story. I do have it on my Kindle. Your review let me know that her story will make an impact and is worth reading. Thank you.

Thanks to your review, I feel as if I definitely should read this book when I was going to skip it imagining it to be a religious and spiritual book. You did a great job of reviewing such a great book.

A harrowing story of abuse and triumph over it through faith sounds like a very compelling read. Thank you for the great introduction to this book.

wow reading the review alone as ignited a burning flame in my heart to want to read this book. This issue of rape and violation of young girls has become a big curse on our society.
This story is a most read because it's not only touching and hypnotizing, it is reiterating that social problem that we less often talk about.
God bless the author of this book in surfeit really. And thanks for this explosive and comprehensive review.

It’s so important that people who are forced to undergo such unspeakable suffering are given a voice and a platform. Talking about such difficult and personal things can not only be cathartic, but can help to undo stigma and other people’s fear of sharing their own stories. I think I would really value this story!
