The book seem to have a captivating story, but unfortunately romance genres aren't my favourite. I'll guess pass this book. Great review.

Romance is not something that I would pick to read on my own as I find most of them to be extremely mushy and unrealistically. However this book dose seem to be well written and goes into the backstory of the main characters. The humor might be helpful in make the book seem more real bu to me I don't think the whole farm love story thing would get it.

The tittle of the book is eye-catching and thought-provoking. The very first line of the review tells of a book that is different from the typical gendered romance story, in which the male is the pursuer and the woman is the pursued. thanks for your engaging and persuasive review.

Sounds like a soap opera, with the family drama saga. A story set in Australia about family and romance seems interesting. Thanks for your review.

I typically don't go for the soft or soppy romance novels. I prefer the raunchier kind. Every once in a while, though, there's a book that really catches my attention that isn't my usual type. This one is one of those. Reading the sample on Amazon, I was captivated by the author's writing style. It's so simple, but conveys so much at the same time. Paired with your wonderful review, I definitely think I'll be reading this in the future.

Romance novels are not a favourite genre of mine but I do enjoy a good story along with interesting characters. It sounds to me as though this is written from the perspective of the young Jancy. Set in the Australian outback on a farm, I think the review makes this sound like a complicated and interesting novel. I am interested to discover what the undercurrents in the novel will turn out to be. I am just curious to know what period of time this is set in, although it certainly doesn't sound like it is in modern times. A tale set in relative isolation in a wild country sounds romantic to me. I enjoyed the review very much.

More Heavens Than One by Jennie Linnane, a romance novel. Jancy Steinmetz belongs to a family where everybody cares for each other. After reading the review I think the book is very good and well written. Thanks for the review.

Very thorough review! It gives an amazingly detailed description of the plot. Countryside novels such as the one described are not exactly my cup of tea, but the reviewer does a good job enticing readers. The development of Jancy's character seems interesting. I wonder if there are autobiographical elements...

Thanks for your insights! I never read romance novels but with the endorsement of great writing and the complexities of intergenerational social conventions, this sounds like one I would enjoy.

It's amazing that the author is able to create scenes for the readers without being too graphic. I'm not too much of a romance reader myself, but I've read some in that genre that are not too bad. I think I'll pass on this book, though due to the forbidden affection. Great review.

The attention to details is one thing that increases the enjoyment of reading this book. You can see the children's old neighborhood. You can imagine their dismay as they compare the familiar hustle and bustle of their old neighborhood with the utter silence of the new. Great review.
