This book seems to take off from stories in Genesis of the Bible. From the sample, I met Alex and Jasper, male angels, and Gwen, a human whom both angels loved. There were many sexual innuendos. I don't think I'd be happy to read about worldly angels.

This is the second book in a series about a banished angel, Alex, and his friends. They travel across the multiverse to find three keys that will open a door to the Tree of Life.
Will they find the keys? Sounds intriguing.

The second book picks up where the first book ended and follows Alex, Gwen, and her friend Jasper as they travel across the multiverse to find three keys that will open a door to the Tree of Life. Alex feels that fruit from this tree is the only option to save Gwen’s life.
I am pleased it is well edited! Based on the review, it is perfect for fans of paranormal romance. I read the sample and liked the author's writing style. It also has great characters. While reading the sample, I was particularly intrigued by Jasper. You are right about the dialogue; it is well written. Unfortunately, I don't read paranormal novels, so I will pass. Thank you for the detailed review!

Angels that are on a mission to various worlds to get keys to the Tree of Life from the respective Gatekeepers sounds interesting. I wonder how Alex, Gwen and Jasper will fare and what their trials will be. Presenting the narration from alternating viewpoints is an unexpected choice here, but it's nice to know it flowed seamlessly and was not distracting. Great review.

The plot of a banished angel in love with a human is one that I have not encountered before, so it sure sounds exciting. Thanks for your engaging review.

I appreciate that you addressed this being the second novel in the series. I still might read the first before the second, but the series does sound like it might be interesting.

This sounds like a series I would enjoy, although I may wait for all the books to come out before I read it. Stories involving angels interacting with humans have always fascinated me. I like the idea of traveling across the multiverse to find the gatekeepers of the Tree of Life. Sounds exciting. Thank you for your recommendation. 💕

I read the Amazon sample for this book. There are some parts where it seems the reader would have a better understanding if they read the first book. However, I do agree that the author provides enough context so that this is not absolutely necessary. It definitely seems like an intriguing series! I would love to read it from the beginning.

Interestingly, I never felt so numb while reading a review. Looking forward to sample this read since I didn't know what to make out of it. Thank you for your review!

I like that this book has enough background stories; it can make the book standalone. However, I'm not interested in this sort of book at the moment. Thanks for the review.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

I'm pleased to see that one does not need to read the first book in the series to fully understand the premise of this book, as there were enough references and background information from the previous book. Not quite sure paranormal stories are my thing, however I enjoyed reading your review!

This is totally my genre! The kind of adventurous book I would love to read. Oh wow. I sure would want to know how everything turns out. If Gwen turned into an immortal at the end.
