Good to know that Genesis can be read independently, though it is the second book in series. The plot includes a journey to the other planet. There are fantasy and romance in the novel. The book is edited properly. Thanks for the review.

The book feels more like an adventure novel to me. Traveling through universe to get the cure for a poisoned companion. I hope they were successful in their search. I like the fact that even though its a second book in a series, it was interesting to read as a stand-alone novel. Good review.

The review projects the novel, Genesis by Bellamy Westbay, as a very interesting piece to read. It creates that desire and appetite to look for the book series and read them. Before one reads Book 2 in the series, he/she would like to know about the circumstances under which Gwen was poisoned and who actually did it. Also, one would be interested to know these tasks the gatekeepers wanted performed in order to grant the keys to the Tree of Life. Although the reviewer says that there were enough references to incidents in the first novel to make the story in Book 2 make sense, I would prefer to start reading the novel from Book 1.

Official Review: Genesis (The Infinity Series, Vol.2)

Genesis picks right up where Revelations dropped off. Gwen is dying from being poisoned. Alex and Jasper are trying to save her; each with their own reasons as to why.

Their journey takes them to distant worlds filled with trials and adventures. While trying to navigate the unfamiliar terrains and customs Gwen is also trying to figure out how she feels about Alex and Jasper. Alex hurt her one too many times for her liking and she tries to keep her distance although she has a very difficult time doing so and Jasper has always been there for her…or has he?!

It’s a love triangle filled with the unexpected and wrapped in a little what-the-heck-was-that. From page to page you never know what is going to happen next. It’s easy to get submerged in the story. So much happens and I don’t want to ruin it for anyone, but it does end on another slight cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to see what in store next for everyone.

While its good to know that you can read this book independently from its predecessor, I still like reading my books in order. I wouldn't mind giving this series a look since it seems different from other supernatural series that I have looked at.

Genesis (The Infinity Series, Vol. 2) by Bellamy Westbay is a #Paranormal #Fantasy #Romance that follows a banished angel, Alex, and his friends as they travel across the multiverse to find three keys that will open a door to the Tree of Life to save Gwen (a human - Alex's lover). It's an age-old tale of humans and angels falling in love.

You sold me on the first paragraph of your review. It urged me to read this book ASAP. However, the book is not for free, and I wish to read the first book before reading this.

Thanks for the review.

It's good that there's sufficient background information in case you have not read the first book, but for any books that are in a series, still best to read the previous books. Make it easier to understand the characters' emotions and actions. This book is unfortunately not for me, even after reading the sample. Nonetheless, a great review!

I think I would be interested in reading this book. I love romance so that is a huge plus for me. The story line itself is a unique one. Congratulations on BOTD.

I think this book gives a similar story of fallen Adam and Eve, as Alex searches for immortality cure of Gwen, similar Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit thinking that they will as well attain immortal bodies in vain.

Genesis (the infinity series vol 2)by Bellamy west bay is a mesmerizing tale involving angels and humans, love and friendship and loyalty and trust.Alex , an angel ,is on a race against time to find a cure for Gwen, a human who he happens to love.I agree with the review that the first book does not need to be read to understand this one.Just by the first chapter you will already know everything you need to know about the characters.

I love romantic books and this book does not disappoint.I loved how Alex cared for Gwen ,the affection he showed her, and the sacrifices he made for her. I also enjoyed the relationship between jasper ,a human, and Alex. They ultimately had to work together and trust each other if they were to succeed on their quest.

I did not like some terms used by Alex because I feel some of them are human phrases unlikely to be used by an angel.

After reading the review i definitely want to read the first book to know how the relationship between Alex and Gwen began.
