I also borrow from our library here. and good think about our library here, we can requests books for ordering.
i hate our bookstores here, they don't always have the books I want. I mean what bookstore wouldn't have Nicholas sparks books?? or a lot of famous bestsellers! i always end up ordering. They order them from Amazon. (thankfully we don't get charged for the order, only the book) but they do take about three weeks to get here! frustrating!

Maybe you could try ordering from www.abebooks.com...? They're cheaper than Amazon...not sure the books would get to you any faster, but they've got great discounts. I've been ordering books from that site for about eighteen months now, and I've never been disappointed. The one time (out of a couple hundred) a book didn't show up, I emailed the seller, they responded quickly, and the money was back on my debit card within twelve hours.Doyag wrote:mostly bookstores.

I never order from Amazon. I do it either by the library or through a bookstore. I'm not charged for the order though..

Some do, some dont. The one I go to in National City has a good selection of books. The Walmarts in Utah have a few, like how to plant geraniums and a lot of Mormon books but not much else.Tralala wrote:Walmart has books? Man, the W-M out here doesn't. Damn suburbs.
