Re: Official Review: Moon Dark by Patricia Barletta
Yes, exactly! Certain important things were resolved or at any rate not left too wide open, but there were hints that certain minor characters could do more in future.Cotwani wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 09:50 I like that though the book is the first in a series, its major plot points are satisfactorily resolved by the end, though certain aspects still have evolving potential. Some books end at cliffhangers right on the brink of resolving the major plot points. I find it offputting - and 'rebel' by not getting the sequel! I know, they have to create suspense for a sequel, but it's a raw deal when the main plot point is not resolved. Anyway, just saying! Thanks for the awesome review!

Yes, the characters' magic powers and connections have a lot to do with their bond. So it's not empty romance. Thanks for stopping by!Firefawkes wrote: ↑02 Mar 2019, 18:16 I tend to avoid romance books because I find the characters are often underdeveloped, because too much emphasis is put on the romance. This book seems like the supernatural element allows the author to further explore the characters personality and motivations, so I might have to give this one a try! Thanks for your review![]()

Thanks for your comment. The heroine of Moon Dark is a widow, but she is portrayed as quite innocent nevertheless. Do come and join in the "What Word Am I Thinking Of?" game.InStoree wrote: ↑05 Mar 2019, 10:08 I got so caught up in your comments that I forgot about Moon Dark. I apologize! You have such an entertaining page here. It was a real pleasure reading it. I love how your review connects a married, an unmarried and divorced women. Now I wonder where is the single or widow women? Do they "know it too"?Also, thank you for the educative post, new word and for the link that you've shared ("What Word Am I Thinking Of?"). I didn't know about it. Thank you for such a valuable review page!

I got quite into it recently too. There's something rather pleasurable about the well-written books in the genre! Thanks for your comment.
