Las Vegas, twelve years ago. Loved it! That was the last time I got a sunburn, too. Was "goth" modeling at the time (think black hair, white skin) and got in big trouble when I got home. And developed a bigger hatred for white foundation and powder.
Still n all, it was a good trip! I figure I'll go back after I've put my kids through college. And finish my degree. And pay my house off. And sprout wings and fly.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Last holiday I had was to Brisbane to see Christine Aguilera live. My gf shouted me a ticket, but I must admit that I loved it, she has an amazing voice. Man, that was years ago, I don't get out much. :D

Last summer we drove from Minnesota to Yellowstone National Park and back. Made lots of pit stops. Great time. I love our National Parks.

My last holiday was in 2009 to Romania (if you could call it a holiday, I was out there doing voluntary work).
I stayed there for a month. It was very hot, pigeons everywhere and terrible food and plumbing, but the city we stayed for a few nights was very beautiful - amazing arcitechture and ice- cream. It was when we got out in the sticks that it all went a bit belly up really but we weren't really there for a holiday so..

Those accident compensation laywers would have a field day over there the streets are terrible, I don't think I went a day without nearly breaking my neck and I was covered with bruises the whole month

My wife and I spent two weeks in San Andres, the first two weeks of December, 2011. San andres is an island in
the Western Caribbean. It lies about 150 miles off the coast of Nicaragua and is a Columbian possession. The first
time I visited SA was in 1977. This my wifes' second time. My wife, who grew up in a place that has a 9 month
winter, loves this place. So do I and every time I come back--there's more to do. Live music--mostly play salsa--
diving, sailing, windsurfing, lobster, daytrips to smaller islands, 5 white sand beaches(one clothing optional).
And affordable.

I just got back from a week in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was a trip I won through a drawing at work. 7 of us from work went over. Awesome time! A bit too liberal of a country for me, but very cool experience. My first time to Europe.

Uh my last ones actually in process and its at a monestary in Tenessee.. For studies. But its still a vacation, if you can look past the unmarried pregnant girl chilling with the nuns and following the priests around all day... Not as bad as i thought it was going to be, and it still has its relaxing moments of not dealing with the outside world (except the computer. i'd die without it.) and doing nothing but letting the knowledge of everything they have to offer sink in to become understood.
