Re: Official Review: Crimson and Clover by Crystal Schultz
What I never really understand is why these immortal (old) supernatural creatures in fantasy novels usually think it's a good idea to go to high school. You're seventy, (or sometimes, centuries old) and your preferred company is seventeen-year-olds? I don't know, maybe adults would be better; more experience, perspective, maturity, etc.
Well, these are just my musings, but otherwise, the book seems interesting (editing and pacing issues notwithstanding). I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It reminded me a lot of Twilight, actually. Thanks for commenting!

I liked it not having explicit sex scenes as well. Hopefully, they will have it edited soon. Thanks for commenting!

LOL. I agree with you. I think it is probably written that way since teenagers are the intended audience. Thanks for commenting!Dentarthurdent wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019, 13:57 Thanks for a great review. I'm glad you illustrated the characters' growth, as well as their personalities.

Thank you for the kind comments!Emy Katherine wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019, 16:46 Over 600 pages? A lengthy book! However, it sounds an intriguing read with relatable, well-developed characters. Those who enjoy reading about vampire tales will enjoy it! Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of fantasy books; therefore, I will pass on this one. Also, it is a pity the book has editing issues. Thank you for the beautiful, detailed review!![]()

It isn't for everyone. Thanks for coming by and commenting!unamilagra wrote: ↑30 Apr 2019, 14:28 Very thorough review! Vampire stories are not my personal cup of tea, and knowing that this one is very long as has a lot of errors makes me want to try it even less. However, it sounds like the plot could be interesting for those who like vampire stories.
