To tell the truth, I am not the biggest fan of romance books, especially those kind which are so heavily leaning on grief and loss of loved ones. Since it seems to me the center aspect of this book, I will have to pass.

This seems as a good book which discusses about human grief reactions, but I feel like this is not my usual reading type. So I will pass on this one. Anyway, congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

:( :( The review already changed my emotions abruptly to imagined all that Miriam went through in loosing someone that she loved most , her husband.
What uplift me is how she gradually overcome the pains by the help of her mum and sister to pass through the test of time , and also considered Penelope.
Blanchard is an Awesome author who deserves an award.
Excellent and Vivid Review.
I cannot wait to read the full story to the brim.

Thanks for the review, it does see like a great mother's day gift. I like that this book features a prominent mother-daughter relationship, I feel like that's not a commonly represented relationship and I look foward to reading it

I really enjoyed your review! I have read the first couple of chapters of "Pressing Flowers" and I definitely want to read this book! I suspected it would be a tear-jerker but that's ok because I love a story where I can feel the emotions of the characters. Awesome review!

Cannot imagine the grief that comes with losing your husband suddenly. It is hard to gauge how you would deal with it, especially when you have a child to take care of too. It sounds like and absolute tear jerk-er.

I just finished a class where we studied the human condition, so this book seems like a great supplement to that!

The premise of this story reminds me of how much I've been through with my mum and siblings after the loss of dad. I'd like to know how Miriam handled the life challenges she encountered.

Sounds like a very well written and heartwrenching novel for those who like that kind of thing. I'm not sure I would be ready for such emotions myself, but I'm glad you liked it!

I'd prefer to read more action packed books rather than such heart-breaking and emotional ones. Besides I think the book is a little bit depressing with all the pain of the main character, after she lost her husband and her inability to get out of bed and to perform her duties as a mother to her child. So I'll pass on this one, but I believe the book will find its reader as it shows real courage and strength of a woman to finally overcome the grief and continue her life. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Sometimes a book need not be an action packed story. Riding on a roller coaster of emotions forces a reader to really feel. Your thorough review has made me want to make this my next read!

It sounds very powerful and emotional book .The loss of a beloved person is unbearable.I like the books thar are based to real life problems sentiments. The diffuclty to overcone the pain of the loss can be understable only if you have lived.I am sure that i will love iy .congrats to the author for her debut .Thanks for the detailed review

Sounds like a great book I shouldn't miss for anything in the world. storyline sounds interesting. It might not be fast paced thriller, but this tale might make the readers want to read it faster than a thriller. So thanks for the lovely review.
