The premise to this story sounded like one I would love to read....until you got to the reasons for only 2 stars. And well- justified. Thank you for an excellent review!

You've done your best to tell us about this book. Your reveal best exposed the book's flaws and prepared us on what to expect. Let me go find those other books first. Thanks for taking us through.

I have not read the first two books in the series and thus I am not sure whether I would enjoy reading this one. The story sounds interesting though. The shifting points-of-view within a single chapter is what I may not like. Thanks for the review.

The storyline seems a little off to me; the parents' actions are a bit too radical to be realistic. Adding to the shallow character development, and a heavily theoretical affection between the main characters, one can see where the book failed to meet its potential. I loved your review, however.

Agreed. The parents were extreme in this book. Thanks so much for your kind words!
