Romance novels aren't my thing, but dystopian novels are... I am so torn on this one! Haha! But it is short, so it sounds worth the risk.

This review is helpful. It reminds me of a mixture between Handsmaid Tale and the Hunger Games. Definitely sounds like an interesting romance novel to read.

It sounds like it's kinda a combination of the Hunger Games and the Selection series'. I think I'll give this series a try. Thanks for the review.

"It is about a society in which the government chooses who you will marry once you turn 21 years old. You do not have a choice and any relationships formed before that age will not be taken into consideration. If you commit adultery, you will be punished, and divorce is not allowed."

I can't imagine such a government. This is ridiculous. I'd like to read this book.

I've sampled a couple of Brandy Truly's Temptation series before, and have seen how engrossing they can be. This one appears to be at par with the others. I don't mind that the plot moves too fast or that the love grows too quickly. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoy dystopian novels, so this one with an added element of romance sound captivating to me. Being relatively short, this also sounds like an ideal read for a time away on the beach or a fishing trip when I can get bored. Thanks for a nice and interesting review as well.

This seems like a good book to read since it has been featured in many book of the month forums. I also like that it has a little bit of the Hunger Games with the contest. I like that the author took something like arranged relationships which happens in some cultures and made it dystopian.

This is an interesting concept. I enjoy reading dystopian romances, and this one sounds like a cross between The Hunger Games, Matched, and The Selection. I loved all of those books and am equally interested in reading this one. Thanks for the review!

I really enjoy dystopian and romance novels, so I am very intrigued to get started on this book! The plot seems pretty original and I look forward to reading about this twist. There's nothing like a good twist in a book to make you unable to put it down.

I’m interested in dystopian novels, but this one being so fast paced makes me hesitant to read it. I don’t really like time jumps or relationships that develop too fast in stories. I think I’ll have to pass on this one, but thanks for the review!

I agree about romances moving way too fast. Also, a character falls for someone while they are "in love" with someone else is completely unrealistic. Love doesn't work that way and I'm glad the reviewer pointed it out. Thanks for a great review.
