I didn't get a chance to read the June book of the month, but, from what I've read, this seems to have less romance and more action. I enjoyed it.Helene_2008 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2019, 08:04 I can't imagine coming across terrorists on my honeymoon! I've read another book by this author and really enjoyed it (June book of the book) so should like I should read this one next! Thank you for the review.

I'm not sure I would have handled it as well as they did. It was exciting, though. Thanks.

Thank you. I do hope you enjoy!daviddawud wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 01:19 This is the type of book that I would love to peruse. I love reading action novels and I'm glad that the book is even a fast-paced one with an interesting plot. Great review!

It's major towards the end of the book. It would take away too much of the story too comment further. Thanks.

Oh yes! This one is quite fast-paced. Thanks.Bluebird03 wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 14:05 I love a book that begins immediately with action and pulls you in (in sort of a buckle-your-seatbelt-and-hang-on kind of way!). Thank you for a great review!

I've seen True Lies. I don't know that you can really compare the two, but it's interesting in its own right. This one is more action oriented than some of her other novels. Thanks!Miriam Molina wrote: ↑17 Jun 2019, 09:54 Oh my! If my honeymoon gets ruined by terrorists, I'd go ballistic! Mercer seems to like mixing romance with action. I just watched True Lies again. I wonder if EMP will be something similar.

Very nice! The press takes up a running commentary on the First Lady, including her clothes, her designer, and if she's gained weight. It made the book that much more realistic and enjoyable to me.

You can spend your time however you want, but you can spend it only once.

It is. It did make me wonder if the author had a certain first lady in mind.sarahmarlowe wrote: ↑17 Jun 2019, 11:16Very nice! The press takes up a running commentary on the First Lady, including her clothes, her designer, and if she's gained weight.
