I love romance books and this was a really great book I got into it and didn’t want to put it down Alexis doesn’t seem to completely no what she wants and it doesn’t seem like Alexis and Richard have the greatest relationship so maybe it’s not such a great idea they get married and she starts to realize there relationship isn’t what it should be so that’s why she starts to flirt but she needs to figure out her relationship with Richard before she tries to go start flirting with other guys

Well... I Would have decided that I would read the book in the future after reading the first and second chapter of the review but everything got turned upside down after knowing that Alexis isn't at all, all that independent and mature. I like it when the she (in question) is set maturely in her decision and all that. I love romance novel, but this is not the type for me, am sorry.

This one doesn’t sound like it would meet my interests especially with it being so heavy on romance. I don’t like books with women that act all crazy around men in an unrealistic way. The sample pages of this really didn’t appeal to me, and your detailed and insightful review let me know that I need to pass on this. Thanks for the information.

Intriguing book right up my alley! Storyline seems quite promising, characters mature, even through I do prefer females to possess just a touch of bit more strong personalities I will read it anyway. Congratulations with reaching BOTD!

I almost never read romantic stories amd won't make an exception this time. From the review, the main character seams silly. Maybe she was created this way on purpose, but I like deep and developed characters and she doesn't seem like one.

Sometimes when you think you 've finally found the right one someone else comes into your life and make you question that.
So I can fully understands with Alexis.

I think the short-sightedness of the character is a good choice from the author because that's realistic. In matters of heart, many people are short-sighted. I like the choices the main character has to make between two men who are generous and respectful, but one is just no for her. That made me want to read the book and see where the story goes.

It seems to me that Alexis is merely the magnificent flawed human that we all are. If the novel is true to its title then it is fitting that Joe falls in love with the woman who tests his ability to love and his patience the most. Great review.

Romantic books are so additive it is so hard to concentrate on house duties once I get hold of the book in my hand so I currently prefer non- fiction books. Thanks for the review.

I read the free sample and was immediately put off by the stilted dialogue and immature writing style that brought to mind a fifth grader’s attempt at a romance. There were inconsistencies in the way transitions from third to first person were handled (sometimes the first person thoughts were in italics, other times not), and I found it distracting that there was no indication of when the story switched whether it was being told from the guys’ side of things or from the girls’ perspective.

While I was beginning to be somewhat interested in whether Alex would choose her fiancé Richard or the construction worker, when the author had both sets of friends get on the same plane headed to separate conferences I actually said, “Oh, that’s ridiculous!” out loud. From what I read, I would not want to continue reading this book.

I’m not really into sappy love dramas, got enough of those in high school. I think I’ll pass on this one.

I enjoy romances but this one doesn't interest me much. It seems too mercurial for me to really get into. Having such a weak-minded main character annoys me and it sounds like the book still needs some editing.

Sounds like the main character could be irritating at times.
Nice review.

Another romance story which is not my cup of tea. The review provided a good description and take on the book however it is still a romance novel and a little over the top for me. So i will pass. Congratulations though for a beautiful and creative review, i enjoyed reading it.
