This is a great review! You touched on many aspects of the book that made it sound really interesting. Like you, I've never heard of a vampire going to church. I'd like to see how the author handled that.

600 pages? Wow, that is like reading War and Peace only with vampires I loved the title and the cover, and I don't mind reading vampire stories occasionally, although I prefer adult characters instead of teenagers (I am more of a True Blood type of person, not the Vampire Diaries) But 600 pages... no... I must salute your determination!
