Yes, while waiting for my turn, I usually read a book on my smartphone itself. It really helps to pass the time.

Absolutely! I have a book with me wherever I go. I sneak in reading time whenever I can.

I find it practical to go with a book because there's always a long queue.

Always. The wait at the doctor's office is such a drag! I always have a book with me. I keep a book in my purse so that I always have on handy in case I have unexpected free time.

Of course!! it makes the waiting not so cruel! I don't know about other countries, but in mine I wait at least an hour for every appointment, so the book is a MUST.

I take a book with me wherever I go to but not to the doctor's appointment because I rarely fall sick, thank God for the good health.

Absolutely. Book. Headphones. Sometimes a pen to annotate if it's a nonfiction (don't hate me...I'm a historian). Anything to drown out the waiting room sounds and pass the time.

It's great if you are waiting for a long time, you can get a lot of reading done.

I have several books on my phone just for this exact reason. Any time you are at a place where you have to wait a long time, not just the doctor's office, it is super handy.

Hahaah,I would never sit idle on those hospital benches and feel self-pity ,I read anything around to concur the boredom.

I use my kindle app all the time, so I always have a book on me when I go anywhere but especially to the doctors office. I like to read while I wait.

I used to. During my years as a nanny I fell out of the habit because I always had so much to carry that it was difficult to also have a book. Also I had kids to watch! Now that I am working in a preschool I read during rest time (they sleep for at least an hour... its glorious).

The wait is always so long that I end up reading on my phone. It helps pass the time and I can do something I love to do. Sometimes the atmosphere of the waiting room is awkward, so I sit and read on my phone to avoid it.
