My personal favorites include:
Coco (I adore the character development and family theme, Hector is an amazing character)
Megamind (it's developed a cult following over the years and was severely underrated upon release)
How to Train Your Dragon (maybe it's just me, but I love when there are actual consequences to a character's actions. Plus, Toothless melts my heart)
Coraline (it was a risk when it was released and captures the wonder and terror of childhood so neatly)
Paranorman (I wish the child friendly horror stop motion industry was bigger. I liked most of the humor in this movie)
Walle (it's cute robot love and keeps a positive tone about change. One of those movies where I squeal in delight)
The Princess and the Frog (I'm not big on princess movies, but I love Tiana's attitude and her chemistry with Naveen)
I'm sure there are many others I can't remember now, but this is a small list of ones I like!

Princess Mononoke by Hayao Miyazaki
Treasure Planet (aka the most underrated Disney film) by Ron Clements and John Musker
Chico and Rita by Fernando Trueba, Javier Mariscal and Tono Errando
Les Triplets de Belleville by Sylvain Chomet
Le Chat du Rabbin by Joann Sfar and Antoine Delesvaux
Tekkonkinkreet by Michael Arias
Wizards by Ralph Bakshi
Atlantis: The Lost Empire by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise

A Charlie Brown Christmas & the Thanksgiving special is up there too, as they are traditional viewings for me and my family.
So many projects…so little time.

When I was older I discovered Studio Ghibli and became transfixed. Spirited Away is as close to perfection as anything in this imperfect world.
