Attorney's must always work in favour of their clients right? So how do you combine your work and your religious beliefs?

I loved that the author said that he built his life around his faith. I sincerely hope that I will do the same. The book must be outstanding to attain the rare feat of being the Book Of The Month. Will definitely love to read this book.

Its good to get to get to know the author and how the idea struck him.I honestly have limed everything said though i have a problem with some statements made;
1.When he says that he was finding some parts of the old testament not intresting and not upto standards with the current century.I dont think so,becouse saying so will mean even the bible is edited with modern slang which in future will render the good book not that powerfull as the use of some words might not have that strong message as it was in its original context.

It seems like a difficult book for me to read but I'm sure my father would love to read it.

I love the fact that it's not an embellished version or filled with the authors commentary, although those types of books can be interesting and informative as well. I like that because I like the bible as it is without the speculation.

This is such an amazing interview! I love the small insights into the author's personality. This adds a different dimension when reading the work.

I am very grateful to Mr. Greenwood for writing this book. I have attempted to read the Bible a few times, and ended up walking away, for this very reason. Some of it was too hard to comprehend. When I read the sample I was drawn in. I plan on reading the entire book soon.
Thanks again

A very interesting interview with Val D. Greenwood. His explanations can only hope to throw more light on the Old Testament and the sources it came from. I commend him for the hard work producing the book.

I like the idea that the author said he used chats to segment the Kings and their Kingdom's. I would read the book soon.

The Old Testament is very difficult to understand because the books are not in order and also because the culture was so different from ours that we do not understand the motivation behind the actions described. I hope this book also explains the cultural context of the event in the Bible. Cant wait to read it.

aacodreanu wrote: 27 Jul 2019, 04:57 It seems to me one needs to be very certain about his capacity of reading and understanding, especially the Holy Books, to set upon such a journey. I understand the practical purpose of the author and I hope it has been and will be useful to many. Those who do read the book will need to understand that what they are reading has passed through the filter of another person's mind.
I hope I will be able to have a look at it, for the moment it is not on Kindle.
Thank you for your kind words.
With regard to your comment about it not being on Kindle, the book is available on Amazon Kindle. It was $1.00 on the day it was BOTD, but it is now $8 for the Kindle version.
Thanks again and many blessings.

KDJ wrote: 27 Jul 2019, 20:28 Thank you for another wonderful insight into an author. I agree with him with the need for the retelling of the Old Testament for the modern time. As a previous member (aacodreanu) mentioned, the retellings have been through the filter of anothers mind. A pious man who has dutifully studied for many years of his life, is the better choice for explaining to other believers. I too hope this will benefit readers in personally understanding scriptures better. 😃😃😃
Thank you for your thoughtful comments relating to the Old Testament and my book of Old Testament stories. You sound like the kind of person who can/will relate to these wonderful stories. God bless you!

byebye98 wrote: 28 Jul 2019, 22:38 This book looks like an interesting read and I cannot wait to read it. I have read the Holy Bible a few times over in my lifetime, but I have a hard time being able to understand the Old Testament. The New Testament relates better to present times, so it is more appealing to this generation. However, I do believe that the Old Testament has relevance in our lives; the presentation just needs to be clarified.

I cannot wait to read this book once it becomes available. Great Interview with such a humble author.
Thank you for your insightful observations! I hope you find satisfaction in reading my book. It is available on Amazon, both in the Kindle version and in a paperback. And any bookstore can order it from my distributor, Brigham Distributing.
Blessings,
