The title is suitable for the Book. The Old Testament is more centered about Jews as a people. The making of a Nation from Abraham. It can only fit the modern world and find solution of religious conflict when put together with the New Testament. Christ comes as the savior for all. Salvation for all nations. Jews and Gentiles alike.

In my opinion the title is suitable for the book. It covers a particular religion which is in line with the context of the book.

I think the title is great for the book and anyone who is familiar with the Old Testament in the Bible stories will pick it out quickly. Those who are unfamiliar might struggle a bit although the "Thee" should point them towards the Bible.

I completely agree. I guess right off that the book would have a religious bent. The "Thee" clued me in. I think the title is appropriate, especially in relation to the book's content, Old Testament Bible stories.

And that is the reason why there should be people to write Biblical literature. To relate the Bible to the current world.

This second version is a worrying thought, especially in current societies where religious conflict is still ripe in many countries.
This suggests to me that the title should have been thought over more and replaced with a more suitable title.

Whenever I read the title, I always think it sounds like something I read in American History class, so I don't think it really works for those without a knowledgeable religious background. Although from other comments I saw on here, it seems to be a good title for those with more knowledge of the Bible.

I agree with you. The title could have been more appropriate to what the book entailed. It's also a bit long and not very catchy. On the otherhand, people who are already familiar with Biblical literature may like the title, but this means that the book will probably only appeal to a Christian audience. As it stands with the current title, I doubt that it will encourage others to read it.

The title is suitable for the book because it is a direct quote from the scripture Greenwood is writing about. If you come at this book from a religious background similar to the author, that doesn't seem to be a problem. He does not make any assertions about the Jews or nation of Israel in the present day. I didn't love the title, because in the whole of the book, he never really explains what that means, and the Israelites have a lot of not-great times. Would have liked the book to have lived up to the title.

I personally think the tittle can be a little misleading. I don’t mean it in a bad way, I just think that reading the tittle one would think the book is about politics or a social study, not something religious.

I didn't realize this book was covering a religious topic until I read the description. I think the title is great for the book
