It depends, but I would guess somewhere between 75 and 100 books per year.

My books-per-month number varies depending on how busy the month is in other areas. In my busiest months I'm lucky to get through 1-2 books. When I have plenty of down time I can usually get through a good book in two days. Balancing out I would say my average since I've been back at Uni. is 40-45 books a year.

I set my goal at around 100 this year. As of today I'm 8.5 in (if you count Greek/Roman classics I read for seminars then maybe 13). 9 books a month average will get me to my goal. Whew! That might be a little tough! But I'm going to take advantage of the beaucoups of free-time I'm going to have until Summer and get down to it! A challenge is good!

I have no idea how many I read. Frequently as soon as I end one I start reading a new one, I finish a book in about 2-3 days. So far this month I've read 3. I suck at math but my guess is I read about a 100 give or take. Luckily I'm into digital books now or I'd become a book hoarder :? .

Love the written works...but also want to take the plunge and get a Kindle to keep in my bag...somuch lighter than a novel...

I love how there are no origional ideas!! I just happened to start a new book on Jan 1 and thought it would be interesting to see how many I consume this year. So far I'm up to 10.5. The first being The Hunger Games and the . 5 is The Clan of the Cave Bear (for the 4th time).

Goodreads can help you if you want an online bookshelf of books you've read, especially if they're from the library, on the kindle, everywhere!

I'm trying to set a goal for my primary students this year..it's difficult considering they read at least one picture book a day! Any suggestions for 6-8 year olds?

Oh goodness.... depending on how interested in the book I am and if i have Home read time available for more than just a little while at night after the kids go to sleep I read about 2-4 books a week. So lets say i average abotut 156 a year.

Last year I was a general manager for a hotel. Most of my eight hour day was spent reading when all my work was finished. I read over 200 books last year. This year is different I am now working as a CNA, and I am a full time nursing student. I have only read 50 books. Audrey

I just hate it when work gets in the way of my personal life! I just got into work and I am so bummed that I left my book on CD in the car. I've been listening to it at work during the quiet mornings. I guess I was meant to actually "work" today!
