I'm the author. Many complain it is too hard to understand. What they don't understand is this is my second book. Read the first one first:Noosh wrote: ↑02 Sep 2019, 04:45 Ok guys, hi
I bought the book recently, thinking that it would be a great opportunity to educate myself on such matters. I started reading it but so far I’m not even a little bit interested. I mean, granted, I’m still on chapter one but still, normally I’m hooked this far in the book (true story). So, what do you suggest? Should I drop it ? Should I push through because it’ll get better? Anything?

This one is specifically about the new information on Judas that ends Christianity as any sort of history.

Why didn’t anybody tell me so sooner?!
Thanks. I will read that one first.

Great! Well, I bought the BOTM package for Misreading Judas first, as that is my current interest. But the other covers Dead Sea Scrolls, biblical references to other saviors, and Old Testament myths as mysticism, as well as gnostic discoveries (added after I wrote it), so it will help a lot to read it first.Noosh wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 20:54There’s a first book?Sahansdal wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 17:55I'm the author. Interesting.
Well, you say myth and it reminds me of Bones, the tv series. She also called the whole thing a myth and had reasons for saying so.
Alright! I’m so gonna read this book.

I've been on this Path all my adult life and know it well. Any questions, feel free. I could use more reviews, if you like, too:

But since it’ll be an altogether new area of reading for me, it’ll take time. But sure, I’ll leave a review when I’m done reading.

Eisenman:

This is good too, but a real graduate-level read from Eisenman:

You might want to start with my first book, which is broader in scope, and very centered on the Bible. I used to be Christian.

I agree; the premise is fascinating. I have read some reviews and a few preview pages, but haven't read the book yet. It does sound intriguing because the message is so radical.Vscholz wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 20:15 I started this book a while ago. I love the idea behind it, but I wasn't able to fully understand what was being said. That isn't to speak poorly of the author--he certainly did his research, but I think the target audience is very specific. A basic understanding of Gnostic beliefs is definitely a must.

I did the best job on this that I could muster. I did a lot of research reading before I sat down to write, but writing the main body took only a week or two. I think writing that way is best for me. It is difficult to pull all the threads together to make a sensible presentation, but I believe it is there. A little familiarity with Gnosis is helpful, but I do explain it, briefly. Christianity is so pervasive, this is really important information to know. That's why I wrote it. I was inspired to help others know the truth.10mile72 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2019, 19:17I agree; the premise is fascinating. I have read some reviews and a few preview pages, but haven't read the book yet.
