I just started to read this on my new kindle reading app. I am thrilled with the illustrations. They are in monochrome blue and depict wintery scenes with detail and imagintion. I hope the narrative lives up to their promise.

I haven't read the book yet but holy moly all the reviews are 4 stars! It's a fantasy which is right up my alley! I don't want to spoil the plot for myself but I think I will check out some of the reviews about it anyway.

I haven't had a chance to read this yet, but I've read so many reviews about how good it is that I really want to. I'm a big fantasy fan, and Harry Potter is one of my favorite series, and many reviewers have compared this book to it, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Reading some of the positive comments here, I'm very excited to read this. I'm not a big fan of fantasy, but I do dabble, and I'll try to get round to it in the next week or so and come back with an opinion. Hopefully it lives up to its comparisons with Harry Potter and the like.

So far I like the book. It reminds me of fairies and different worlds. And the pets to me were almost like they are familiar's and in his case he had 2 which means he was very special. And it was crazy how no one ever came back but a 2 yr old did. He sing even as a a infant it sad I forgot the lil. Boys name. But overall it's cool! :D :o

[amazon=][/amazon]I have always liked fantasy-based books because it reminds me of that beautiful age that we live when we are children where we only fantasize about living in worlds full of magic, that is why I like the narration of this book, its The front page attracts a lot of attention as well as reading its first pages that is why I would like to continue this fantastic story until its end. :D

I really enjoyed the book. I thought it was fast paced and it held my attention. The plot was unique, and I thought the idea of a parallel world that also has parallel people was pretty neat. The only problem I had with it was the fact that I got confused at times because events did happen rather quickly. I could easily get back on track though. I gave this book 4 out of 4 stars. Also, I saw a lot of reviews that categorized this book as young adult, but I feel that it is for middle grade, particularly because of the age of the main character. I would definitely recommend it to children of that age and to adults who want to read fantasy that is free from profanity and graphic scenes.

I felt that the storyline was a bit choppy, and not very clearly written. The author leaves the readers to puzzle out many things in the hope that they will resolve themselves the further they read.

I'm only about 100 pages in but so far I like it. I find the idea of sounds and echoes interesting and can't wait to see what the prince is actually like. I hope he's worth protecting. I'm not quite sure who to trust at this point but I guess I'll find out!

I thought this book was ok overall. I liked that the book was based on an original idea - one I have never read of before and it was obviously professionally edited (which was a breath of fresh air!). I did, however, find the authors writing style to be confusing. So much so that I ended up reading the book halfway through before deciding to start over. The second time through made a lot more sense, but a reader should not have to do that! I felt as if the author knew her world that she had created backwards and forwards, but she forgot that we readers do not. Pellucid also liked to write about something that happened, but would not reveal what she was talking about until a paragraph or chapter(s) later. This had me confused in the moment, but eventually it all would make sense - it was just a matter of when. She also liked to use odd metaphors that had me pondering what exactly she was talking about.

I also noticed a few inconsistencies in her writing, such as; slipping up and saying valerie was riding on an Echo bird when her albatross is a Sound and describing Wolfea, Peter, and Will as Echos, etc. The ideas of Echos vs. Sounds can be hard enough for the reader to keep straight as it is - having the author screw it up makes it even the more confusing!

Overall, I rate Chrystilleries of Echoland 2 out of 4 stars.

I would recommend this book to young adults who like a complex fantasy story

I like books about magic and parallel worlds. I've not read the book yet, but I'm about too. I hope I finish reading it soon to give it my own rating.

I gave this a four out of four-star. I absolutely loved the premise of the story. It kept me hooked until the end of the book. It did remind me of Harry Potter, but that did not make the story any less interesting. There were some disturbing scenes which make me feel that it should be read by a young adult audience. Overall, I really enjoyed the book.

I liked the concept of the overall plot of the story. It did seemed a bit rushed at beginning and the end. Prime example of the book stating were the main character got the royal shekel from. I went back to the beginning and noticed he got the item from some where else entirely. It's almost like the arthur started down one path for the book. Then changed her mind, and didnt completely erase the original path for the plot. The middle did feel well thought out, planed, and offered I wonderful image to its readers. But upon reaching the end, once again it felt rushed. Characters quickly being added in for no particular reason. One character being killed and brought back to life not once but twice within a matter of hours. For these reasons is why I rated the book 2 out of 4 stars. There are some readers I feel would enjoy this book a great deal, but I just needed more from the book to rate it any higher.
