I enjoy the whimsicality of Ray Bradbury's work. I like the ideas and scenarios which are based on technological ideas and i think his themes are wondrous as well. I know this is choppy but everything is just my scatter-brained opinion.

I have just read "Fahrenheit 451" by him, and I think it's brilliant. I devoured the book in just a couple of days, the only complain I have of the book is that sometimes the writing was a little weird, but I'm not sure if that was his style. What other book by him do you recommend me to read?

I read "Fahrenheit 451" too. This is a great book, but I like the Martian Chronicles more. These are short stories about the life of colonists from Earth on Mars. Also, these stories about the remnants of the ancient Martian civilization.

Of course, I know that there is no civilization on Mars, but Bradbury wrote these stories a long time ago. They look like an alternative story now. Nevertheless, they are very philosophical and very beautifully written.

Today you can read his Martian Chronicles like fairy tales, which is appropriate for a Bradbury's work. As for Fahrenheit 451, it's message is as important as ever.

Yes, some of his stories are dated but they focus on humans rather than science and technology so they can still be relevant.

The Illustrated Man is a classic anthology of Ray Bradbury's short stories. I read that in recent years a project started called The Collected Stories of Ray Bradbury to publish all his short fiction but the books are very expensive and they seem to have stopped after two books covering only the first phase of his career.
