I enjoyed the book , although I always find war books emotional. The author managed to portray the reality of war but also managed to bring in some humor. It makes you appreciate what the war veterans went through and how they deserve to be acknowledged and deserve their pensions. I rate this book 4 out of 4

Every war leaves blood bath behind. I believe that the loss is more than the profit. Not only thousands of soldiers die but their families also suffer. This book perfectly expressed the emotion. It deserves 4 out of 4 stars.

I feel the book is a good way to honour and remember the veterans who participated in the Vietnam War. I have not read the book yet, but from the reviews I think it is an excellent book.

I like action packed war stories, so, definitely this is my genre. I also loved the military experiences and how a naive boy strives to survive in a war environment.
We're all philosophers. When there's a tough choice to be made, when faced with the facts of birth, love or death or simply when thinking about what we want to do with our lives.

This story looks like a view of the Vietnam War from a different perspective. I didn't know the U.S. had ships in fighting position and vulnerable to the surrounding waters.

Actually I haven't read the book yet. But basing myself on the OBC official and volunteer reviews, this historical fiction deserves a perfect rating.

I just started reading the book. Any book about veterans, especially one written with such clarity, is a must-read for me. I am currently on page 30 and I have to say the book is edited impeccably. The author's choice of words, for instance is really remarkable.

I just recently started reading the book. Much to my delight, I read your reply. I noticed how lovely the editing was. I also noticed how the book sticks true to it's theme. The choice of words, in particular, is clearly in line with the theme of war.

Any book that shines a light on unsung heroes is a must-read for me.
I'd recommend you read this book. It's well written and action-filled.
Most importantly, it's true for our times. The issues portrayed in this book, especially about Veteran affairs have a lot of resemblance to our current society.

The realities of war veterans are abysmal. The author did a good job at capturing these realities in the descriptions of events and emotions.
