Princess Catrin a slave and disguised as a boy? Marcellus forgetting Catrin and their love? What torture Catrin endures! I hope the two will reunite in the end. They must!

The Mulan vibe also intrigues me. I loved that film!

This series must be pretty good. I've seen nothing but rave reviews about it and this 3rd book promises to be just as good. They are definitely on my list to read. I love historical fiction and add in the forbidden love, I'm intrigued.

I love when the third book in a series adds "a summary of previous books at the beginning of the book." Helps to not feel so lost. Thanks for the review!

I like the fact that this series keep going with the momentum and drama of the first two books. I also like that the author mixed historical events and fantasy to make a completely new kind of genre. I am glad that the book was professionally edited and the cover art of the book is beautiful. I am very intrigued by the idea of female gladiators and to know if Catrin is able to reunite with her husband.

Amulet's Rapture sounds very interesting, though I think I'd have to read the first two books to get a better understanding. But from reading the reviews, the sample on Amazon and the description it has very well caught my attention. Catrin sounds like a very strong woman and I love female centric books, especially for historical novels like these.

Thanks for the great review! This whole series sounds interesting. I haven't read any of the books due to the reference to magic powers and praying to other gods. I avoid any books with these themes. I am also not a fan of sexual scenes and profanity. From your review, and the sample I read, this book will be enjoyed by many, I just won't be one of them! The storyline is good, I just don't want to be exposed to all of the other situations leading to sexual acts and cursing! Thanks again for a great review! :tiphat:

The first book in this series is on my to-be-read shelf and this book is getting put on there, too. Your review really makes me eager to dive into this series and get reading. Thank you for your engaging review! I can't wait to start these books.

I am not a fan of romances, but all three books in this series sound exciting! I am happy to hear that at least one female gladiator has a role in this one! Great review!

This sounds like another great installment to the series. I like that the author has a summary of the prior two books and a list of the characters. Thank you for your review.

I do like historical fiction, especially when it is set in Ancient Rome/Britannia. The romance factor, in addition to the quality editing, is also a plus, for me. Thanks for the review!

Romans, Celtics, Druids, ravens, gladiator warriors, and curses! This 3rd book in the series sounds to be just as action-packed as the first two.

Thank you for the well-written review. It would drive me batty to pick up in the middle of a series. I'd have to read the preceding books first. It sounds like they are well-written stories.

I appreciate the summary of previous books too. Even if you read them, a review can be helpful. I don't think you're is for me, though, as I wouldn't enjoy the sexual scenes. It does sound great for those that like romance.
