I did not like this book at all. The formatting and grammatical errors made it really hard to get through, and the characters seemed so flat to me!

Not sure if I'll enjoy the romance part of it but it does sound exciting. Seems like it has a lot of action.

I love action packed novels, especially those inclining towards detectives and spies. That's actually what I liked most about the book.

I am amazed by the romace it provides, kind of different from all the other romantic books i previously read. Although the book title is not so good because personally, i do not find it attractive except for the word honeymoon.

It was an enjoyable, light read, but I can't deny that it didn't put me on thinking too especially Dr. Kinney's belief. The interview with Henry Harven-Harbinger was one of my favorite parts. I also liked the duality of the teams, American and Korean, by which characters highlighted their abilities. For me, it was 4 out of 4 stars.

I just finished reviewing it and gave it three out of four stars. It's an improvement over the previous book (Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War). The formatting is 1000% better, and there are no cringe-worthy erotic scenes this time. It was a fun read overall if a bit silly at times. I stated in my review that it had the feel of a 1970s made-for-TV movie.

I really enjoyed E-M-P Honeymoon. I definitely felt there was a Charlie’s Angels/Thunderbirds vibe to the novel which I enjoyed. I think the banter between the characters was fun and I could definitely envision this as a film, as the descriptions were vivid. I was not so sure about the sexual references. I read erotic novels on occasion, but the use of the word member felt jarring to me in this novel as all other references to sex in this novel were so mild. I would pick up more books by this author and happily would give it 4 out of 4. I’m in the process of writing a full review.

I would rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. The plot is relatively interesting and cohesive. I found the execution of the story lacking. Too many scenes just didn't feel real. I wouldn't recommend this book, though others may love it.

Overall the book is action-packed. It keeps reader hooked up till last page. I mostly liked the scenes where Tom, Kelly and Steve went for spying the terrorists. Relationship between Tom and Kelly was disappointing but due to awesome plot I loved to read this book. I will recommend this book to action lovers.

As a science minded person, I found this book hard to take seriously as a “realistic” book. It reminded me more of the movie McHale’s Navy where the bad guys are completely incompetent and the good guys are drinking beers and being silly-serious about taking down the bad guys and everything conveniently works out in the end. I don’t consider that a bad thing, but you need to know that going into this book. I didn’t know that people don’t know what EMP stands for because it’s a pretty common term used in sci-fi novels, movies, and shows. The honeymoon part comes into play because Kelly and Tom happen to come across the terrorist plot while on their honeymoon. With that in mind, it was more of a spy/action novel because taking down terrorists doesn’t leave much time for the typical vacation-like honeymoon that you would expect. There was a bit of flirting and innuendos shared between Sharron and Steve (enemies to lovers) throughout the course of taking out the bad guys. I liked seeing the return of some characters from Cyber War (the other May Mercer book of the month) and would recommend this book to people who like light-hearted spy thrillers with a lot of comedy.

I loved how the review was done. It was detailed and the comments gave me a good idea of what to expect from the book. I've already one of Mercer's books and I liked some parts. I also felt that some parts were rushed, just as what was mentioned in a review.

My favorite part is the ending and how everything was resolved. I also like how this book deals with interesting subjects like a solar flare. It is a thing I didn't know much about but after reading this book I was researching more. I always appreciate it when a book teaches me something that I didn't know before. On the other side, I would like if there were a stronger female character.
I definitely recommend this book as an audio. The narrator did an amazing job with it.
I'm glad you mentioned that you think romance is a misleading description. I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, so I wasn't sure I would read this book. But, knowing it's more action-packed, I think I'll check it out!
I agree this is not a romance book. I'd put this book under cozy mystery if that category was available here. I don't think there is any benefit to delving too deeply into plot and characters as I think it was written as an easy read, like brain candy.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was very fast-paced and had a lot of action and suspense. I agree, I do not think it was a very romantic book.

1st impression is like that...but the overall story is good. Not very exciting and not very dull.
