One feels like a duck, splashing around in all this wet. And when one feels like a duck, one is happy!

I agree this is not a romance book. I'd put this book under cozy mystery if that category was available here. I don't think there is any benefit to delving too deeply into plot and characters as I think it was written as an easy read, like brain candy.Kaylee123 wrote: ↑02 Dec 2019, 13:57I'm glad you mentioned that you think romance is a misleading description. I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, so I wasn't sure I would read this book. But, knowing it's more action-packed, I think I'll check it out!AntonelaMaria wrote: ↑01 Dec 2019, 11:32 I would recommend this book but not to romance readers. I think that description is misleading. It is an action-packed book for sure. My favorite part is the ending and how everything was resolved. I also like how this book deals with interesting subjects like a solar flare. It is a thing I didn't know much about but after reading this book I was researching more. I always appreciate it when a book teaches me something that I didn't know before. On the other side, I would like if there were a stronger female character.
I definitely recommend this book as an audio. The narrator did an amazing job with it.

1st impression is like that...but the overall story is good. Not very exciting and not very dull.Jbcitygirl wrote: ↑02 Dec 2019, 23:11 I noted some comments on how the title is somewhat misleading and I feel like I have to agree. Not knowing what EMP means and reading honeymoon , some people might expect more of romance from this book.
