I think this book is a product of in-depth research. What I like most is the solar flare aspect. I'd recommend this book because of the knowledge it conveys in an entertaining way. I'd rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I liked everything about the book its a combination of honeymoon and work. Being cops this couple has to step up and solve crime. I recommend the book to CTMH lovers.

What I disliked most was the book cover. I feel that even though one should not judge a book by its cover this book may never get the exposure it deserves due to the abhorrent cover. I hope the author considers a new cover.

I just finished listening to this yesterday but I haven't written a review yet. As of right now I'm thinking I'm going to probably rate it a 2. I just don't feel like it rates a 3. The title does make it seem like it should be a romance book, but the romance in it feels contrived and cold. The character interactions literally made me cringe with how stilted and fake they felt. I didn't feel like I could personally connect to any of the characters. If I had to choose a favorite I guess it would be Steve, since he felt the most like an actual human being, but his character was almost immediately bogged down by a "romance" with Sharon which felt forced for plot reasons. Honestly, the whole plot felt forced and unrealistic to the point where I just couldn't enjoy it. Nothing flowed for me. So while it wasn't the worst I've read, by far, it certainly wasn't enjoyable. It feels mean saying it, but the part of the book I enjoyed most was the ending, because it meant I didn't have to devote any more time to it.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Overall the author has been remarkable with this book owing to the narrations. I became more engaged when I came across the "sun flare " conversation which made me research more about it.

I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars. I found it more Sci-fi than Romance. It was action packed, but a bit bland - things always being wrapped up with a neat bow. The editing was at least good.

The book is interesting, there's no doubt about that. But hearing about how the couple's honeymoon was interrupted, they ended up planning how to catch the terroirist, doesn't make EMP honeymooners a romance story. However, it is a great read that deserves 4 out of 4 stars.

I was also confused by the title and was a little disappointed to find more action than romance in the book.

I really want to read or listen to this book! I had trouble with the download when I tried to get the audio version, so I’ll have to try again. It sounds like an action-packed story!

I enjoyed the book, for the most part, and gave it a 3 out of 4 stars. The honeymoon part of the title was not developed very well. I liked the bantering between Steve and Sharon but thought it was out of place in the middle of trying to trap the terrorists. They didn't seem to take the situation seriously and that took away from the story line. (I though Cynthia was a more mature character than in the last BOTM by this author.)

Like her last book, I just felt like I was trying to get through it. I really felt no connection to any of the characters and found myself not really caring about the plot. But, this isn’t my normal genre, so maybe it’s just me. I would give it a 3 out of 4 just to be fair. To each his own when it comes to books. I would recommend it to those who generally read books that are a bit predictable. For the world about to blow up by terrorism, it didn’t make me feel panicky or as if I was in an intense situation. It just wasn’t a favorite.

As a Science Fiction story, with some paranoia mixed in, I felt satisfied but there didn't seem to be too much going on with this couple. And they should still be in their "honeymoon" phase of their life together. I guess I might not know what I'm talking about.

Also, I've read so much Sci-fi that I'm getting skeptical as to what can truly be accomplished in real life and what is totally made up for the book.

A lot of action but it felt like a bunch of stuff put in a bowl but not mixed together very well.

The action-packed thriller is very entertaining. I'll recommend for lovers of action movies. However, the book contains jargon that are difficult to understand. Though some have been explained, it impedes the speed of reading.

I agree about the jargon. My husband is also in the career field and said much of it was wrong. I know that isn’t the genre so I left it out of my review but it made the storyline less believable.
