A well-written romance novel that includes "murder, mystery, heartache and disaster" sounds a perfect read for me! It has well-developed characters and an easy-to-read writing style! Plus, it seemed to be professionally edited as you only found two spelling mistakes. As I enjoyed the sample, I will read this book! Thank you for the detailed review!

Love knows no boundaries including age difference. A body is a body where the spark of life and (hopefully) love exists inside. This sounds like a beautifully written book. Great review!

I find the premise intriguing. It's not very common to find an age gap like this, especially when the woman is older. It makes me cringe a bit that she was his teacher, but I can't judge without reading it. Good job not giving away any spoilers. This seems like an interesting story line.

Congrats to Kirk Burris on BOTD honors. Breaking Sandcastles looks like an interesting read given the subject matter. The title alone gives us the idea that we may have a metaphor or two to look forward to. Well done.

The strongest romance stories share the struggles and triumphs of the couple. This sounds like an interesting novel that explores one couples relationship.

When I initially started reading the review I thought this book is based on another cliche plot but as I read further I realised that this book is something I would love to read. Nice review.

A love story about an art teacher and one of his students does not appeal to me. The fact that the characters live in different countries sounds cool, though. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review, but I don't like romance novels, and I certainly don't want to read one that takes place in the 60s, so this one's a firm 'no' for me.

I enjoyed your description of the characters. The change of settings and adding murder and mystery, to thicken the plot, make this an appealing read. Thanks for the recommendation.

Romance, muder and mystery, all in one book sounds intriguing. Readers who like romantic books with mystery in it should certainly check this one. Congratulations to the author and thanks for sharing a thorough review.

Great review - very well written. Having recently retired from teaching, I appreciate the problems that appear when there is a sincere love for a teacher of a different gender. It's also interesting to identify the difficulties with love between people of different age groups. I'll definitely read this one.
