While there’s a lot of great things in this book, I’ll probably pass because of the repetitive sections. Your reviews are so good I still wanted to read the book! The romance and historical elements sound well written. Maybe a bit of editing/reformatting would really set this book apart.

This book seems to dwell into the prejudice was commonplace in those days toward minorities and immigrants and tries to put some light on the core issues. Thanks for your honest review.

I have read a lot about the hurricane that hit Galveston in the 1900. So I think o would enjoy reading this book. Knowing a lot of what happened in real life and adding the story line to it would make it an interesting read. Thanks for the review.
