I often find myself returning to many books. It's like visiting an old friend. I read "The book thief" by Markus Zusak at least once every year and I've done this for 6 years. I also read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry quite often. I love the series and I have the boxed set. I think I return to it not only because they are extremely well written and entertaining, but also because I read it for the first time during a really important time in my life. Now when I am going through a hard time I revisit it and it makes me feel better. Am I the only one with this experience or do other reread books they read during a specific time in their lives?

Replay by Ken Grimwood, such a powerful book about life passing and the choices we make. It makes you realise that whatever the choice you make, even the best possible one, nothing is ever perfect and you have to learn to live without regrets. As a cool bonus, it’s good sci-fi!

I have read To Kill A Mockingbird so many times I can quote large portions of it. I have not read it recently, in large part because I've got so much of it memorized that it sort of spoils the experience. You've inspired me to pick it up again!

I wrote this for you By Iain S. Thomas.
And everytime I read it I find a new favorite poem.

I have a handful of Indie authors I tend to re-read. I also like to re-read Little Women every other year or so.

Quite honestly, my answer to this question would probably be a Harry Potter book, but my favorite book of all time that I could reread on loop is To Kill a Mockingbird. I love how it tells of a simpler time, but still faces issues that the world struggles with to this day.

The World According to Garp by John Irving. It’s the book that first made me love reading, and I get the same inspiration every time I reread it.

I enjoy the Boxcar Children books that I read as a child and now I reread them to my grand doll. I have also read a few of my Karen Kingsbury books more than once.

I have read Look Great Feel Great by Joyce Meyer 6 times.

As I am a confirmed Roman Catholic, I sometimes don't understand every Mass. Joyce Meyer sometimes helps me to understand the Bible.

Her book is a healthy lifestyle book, suggesting advice such as letting God do the heavy-lifting to taking water wherever you go.

A total thumbs up!

Other than the books that I teach at school, I rarely ever re-read a book. I like to live in the experience and then move on. I genuinely miss the characters that I have read, but that longing makes the book even more special to me.

I don't re-read books too often because there's always so many new books that I want to read. The book (and series) that I re-read the most often is The Squire's Tale by Gerard Way. It's a prime candidate to be read over and over again because it's short, engaging, funny, and easy-to-read while still being meaningful.

My favourite is one of the Shadowhunters books, like “Heavenly fire”, they are all amazing and very well written. Every time feels like I’m reading a new book.❤️

I reread at least one book each month by C.C. Hunter. I love her Shadow Falls series and can practically quote chapters of it.
