A romance with suspense seems to be interesting.

Thank you for the great review.

Honestly, I never would've chosen to read this book if it wasn't for your praiseful review. Erotic novels can be such a gamble! But I like the idea of getting into the mind of a criminal and it's always enjoyable to have great supporting characters as Jazz.
Thank you!

A dark and complicated love triangle, entwined with the sinister elements of a thrilling plot of mystery, sex, and suspense. This novel races long like the thrilling ride on a carousel, but then jerks you back to a rude awakening, making you feel that you are in an unpredictable stock car being bumped around the race track, as different characters collide with each other, adding unpredictable kinks to the plot. I read a bit of the book, and your review describes it well.

I think I would enjoy the mystery aspect and the romantic/erotic aspect works in the context of the book. Thank you for the informative review.

A truly twisting tale. I am surprised to hear that Zia ended up in a love triangle. This promises to be one of those books that keep you on the edge.

This is a great review for an equally enthralling and fascinating story. Thanks a lot for the nice summary and helping to highlight what makes the book appealing to the target audience.

I haven't read a book like Chameleon in a long time. Maybe this BOTD should be my next read. Thanks for an awesome review.

I like the fact that the main character is a literary agent, but steamy romances are not for me. Congrats!

The narrative is mired in murder romance and eroticism with uninhibited sex scenes (The graphic sex scenes depicting rough sex with the concept of dominance and submission are plenty and also form the crux of the major conflict in the story.) High suspense fill the pages of the captivating erotic thriller which is definitely bound to engross and please fans of erotic thrillers! An entertaining tale of a beautiful woman caught in a love triangle and finding herself entangled in a serial killing investigation. The ambitious young literary agent, Zia Lennox finds herself in a love triangle with a charming investment attorney, Bryce Fink and an enticing British author, Baxter Leopold who happens to be her client. The stakes rise when Zia realizes the uncanny similarities between the murders in Baxter Leopold’s books and those of a real-life serial killer in New York. Zia must cast aside her conflicting emotions and work toward uncovering the truth. Her anxiety attacks are both relatable and realistic yet convincing while the other protagonists and antagonists in the book are thoroughly sketched, easily identifiable characters.
Lovers of steamy and or jaw-dropping suspense will be ecstatic with this piece!

So many complications and I love that! But I do not think I love the love triangle, that also will be fun anyway. Humor is also a check for me, so I should read this book.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romance novel following a literary agent and a mysterious author that the literary agent slowly becomes attracted to. While romance novels are not my particular favorite genre, it might be worth a second look. Well done.

Dark crime and romance are two genres I don’t ever dive into, so thank you for more insight into this one. I’m wondering if this isn’t the author who wrote Opaque? She might have quoted her own self right at the beginning of the book. I found the writing to be similar to some of hers I have read prior. Anyway, this isn’t the book for me, so thank you for a further look past the sample pages.
Everything happens for a reason...
