Those topics are also important because they're about what our society has become. Thank you for your appreciation!

PTSD makes you think you are a newborn baby? This sickness must be a deadly one. I believe this book has thrown more light on it, I should check it out. Thanks for this review.

PTSD means Posttraumatic stress disorder. A lot of veterans commit suicide or are reduced to a state of mind in which they can't take care of themselves making them very vulnerable. Thank you for your comment.

Glad I read your review because I judged a book by its title! I found your comment that through the story, it makes you wonder who's really mentally ill in this society.

The title can be obscure if you have no idea what the book is about. Glad my review was useful!

I like that "Purple" decides to be a healer and help people after all that he has been through. Seeing society through his eyes would be interesting. Thanks for your informative and interesting review!

This sentence:
"If you're at least open to the possibility that there's something wrong in our society, this is a great novel that offers food for thought about these issues."
My goodness - it would seem this book should appeal to almost everyone then.
Nice Review!

This looks like an interesting book with a unique narrator. Mental health issues are such an important issue for the military... well and for all of society these days. Thanks for reviewing!

At least I hope it appeals to everyone, but clearly there are people who like this society the way it is. Thank you for your appreciation!

I would have to pass on this one. The concept seems interesting, but it might be a bit hard for me to read. Thank you for your review.

Indeed, you have to pay attention to to details to understand what Purple is saying, but it's a pretty short novel, so it's more about finding a few hours when you can focus. Thank you for your comment.

It's often that we find ourselves not knowing who to trust and confide in. I love the plot of the book and would love to read more about this One-Eye god called the money god. Thanks a lot for an amazing review.
