Those topics are also important because they're about what our society has become. Thank you for your appreciation!AvidBibliophile wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 20:54 Sounds like a lot of fascinating topics, themes, and beliefs are represented in this one, especially when told from the perspective of someone who self-identifies as a societal outcast. Thanks so much for your honest impressions!

PTSD means Posttraumatic stress disorder. A lot of veterans commit suicide or are reduced to a state of mind in which they can't take care of themselves making them very vulnerable. Thank you for your comment.Cynthia_Oluchi wrote: ↑01 Apr 2020, 11:36 PTSD makes you think you are a newborn baby? This sickness must be a deadly one. I believe this book has thrown more light on it, I should check it out. Thanks for this review.

The title can be obscure if you have no idea what the book is about. Glad my review was useful!Kansas City Teacher wrote: ↑02 Apr 2020, 21:56 Glad I read your review because I judged a book by its title! I found your comment that through the story, it makes you wonder who's really mentally ill in this society.

"If you're at least open to the possibility that there's something wrong in our society, this is a great novel that offers food for thought about these issues."
My goodness - it would seem this book should appeal to almost everyone then.
Nice Review!

Indeed, you have to pay attention to to details to understand what Purple is saying, but it's a pretty short novel, so it's more about finding a few hours when you can focus. Thank you for your comment.

Purple's trust issues are an extreme version of what we experience every day. Thank you for your appreciation!LeDiplomatique wrote: ↑08 Apr 2020, 03:32 It's often that we find ourselves not knowing who to trust and confide in. I love the plot of the book and would love to read more about this One-Eye god called the money god. Thanks a lot for an amazing review.
