Re: Official Review: The Power of Small Habits
Small changes are a process that's done step by step. Concerning sugar, it's not about removing it completely, it's about a balanced diet, which means getting the amount of sugar your body actually needs with a preference to complex carbs rather than simple sugar. Thank you for your appreciation!kdstrack wrote: ↑18 Apr 2020, 17:19 I appreciate the author's approach of starting with small changes. That way you don't feel so overwhelmed about achieving your goals. I liked that you included the reference to removing sugar from one's diet. That is a difficult one to tackle but worth the effort! Thanks for this inspiring recommendation!

This one is good because it's very practical, no buzz words, no preaching, suggestions for your everyday life only. Thank you for your appreciation!Shrabastee wrote: ↑19 Apr 2020, 09:32 Although self-help books are not really my preferred genre, this one indeed sounds helpful. Thanks so much for the insightful review!

The variety of situations that generate bad habits and the suggestions to turn them into good habits offered in this book can be useful for anyone. Thank you for your appreciation!Aniza Butt wrote: ↑20 Apr 2020, 11:37 I don't read self-help kind of books but I have bunch of bad habits that I desperately want to get rid of. So this book would be helpful.
Thanks a lot for an insightful review ☺.

You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.
When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

Yes, the premise is simple and requires only that you're committed to working on small things all the time. That can change your life, but there's no guarantee that you can join the 1% of superrich people. Thank you for your appreciation!Dentarthurdent wrote: ↑25 Apr 2020, 12:41 I'm intrigued by the book's quite simple but logical premise; that big changes can be brought about by small ones. I see your concern about Sir. Constantine's usage of the 1% as the measure of success and self actualisation.
Thanks for such a concise and insightful review!
