Evil was so prevalent in the universes that Naiu, the life-giving force and power present in all creatures, decided to withdraw and therefore devastating all life. The black star, Finnah, decided to visit Naiu to convince her not to annihilate what she had created. The coming of the star, however, brought profound changes in Jarr-Wya. Some tribes wanted to destroy her while others were convinced she would redeem the galaxies. All tribes went in search of her for different purposes. The Millia sands were hell-bent on ruining everything and consuming Finnah. The Wellsleys have an enormous role to play in defending Jarr-Wya from imminent destruction. Tessa and her husband Ardenal have been looking for a cure for their daughter, Ella, who is suffering from cancer. Ella has a loftier mission, though. In the fullness of time, she will have to make the decision concerning her destiny that undoubtedly affects everyone else.

Who made the Millia sands? Why do they crave Finnah? How does Ella fit into the plan to save the worlds? Who is Ella? Why is she extraordinary? What caused her cancerous lump? How do the Jarrwians and humans portal jump between the Earth and Jarr-Wya?

Inside The Sun: The 8th Island Trilogy- Book 3 was written by Alexis Marie Chute. The author has written several other books and is also the author of a multi-award winning memoir. The book is approximately 397 pages long and is divided into 38 chapters. It was published by SparkPress in 2020. It falls in the genre of young adult.

The book was fascinating from the first page. Vivid descriptions were effectively employed and in this way, it was easy to be inside different scenes. The reader is transported between diverse worlds that are brilliantly built. At one time the reader will be enjoying the serene atmosphere in the magnificent and palatial glass structures before being taken to a shaking and fear-filled plateau on a mountain where the tribes are fighting. The suspense in the book also made me turn from page to page anxiously waiting for what would happen next. There were several twists and turns as well and consequently reading the book was a fun-filled journey. I immensely enjoyed reading the book from the first to the concluding page. The primary conflict was also resolved unexpectedly.

The characters in the book were excellently developed. All the characters were ready to valiantly defend what they stood for. Ella thought she had been requested to sacrifice much until she met Shawell who had been guarding the Star in an underground tunnel all her life. The supporting characters were equally endearing. One recognizes how the mistreatment and poor upbringing of some characters made them choose to be cruel. However, others who were brought up in the same way and even discriminated at school chose to be kind. They chose to be helpful although they had experienced immense pain while growing up. The world-building was equally phenomenal. Jarr-Wya was filled with many enchanting creatures. They were described adequately and therefore forming mental pictures of them was easy.

There is nothing I did not like about the book. What I liked most was the world-building. Editing was fairly done since I discovered a few grammatical errors. The language employed was also straightforward. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book will appeal most to fans of fantasy adventures. All ardent readers of young adult novels will also enjoy reading it.

Conflicts between people of different planets and the description of people living there is such a suspensful plot. The main element next is keeping alive the fantasy and taking turns as the story progresses. A great description of novel having everything a sci-fci requires. Adding to my to read shelf. Congratulations for 4 star review

A book with such character development coupled with suspense is quite a turn on for me. From this review, I want to believe the writer did a good job. I hope to read it soon. Excellent review.

Sounds like an exciting adventure/fantasy story! You mentioned that this is book 3, and since I really like reading series from beginning to end rather than jumping in at the middle, I'll pass on this one. ...for now. I'll have to read the other books first! Thank you for your review.
