This is Corinthians 16:13. It is definitely the Bible verse that's helped me the most, and I hope it finds you well, too!
Thank you for sharing. It is very uplifting and helpful.

Proverbs have so many powerful and inspiring passages thank you for reminding me to go back and check more of them.

in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight"

My favorite is psalm 27: 14 here says: hope in Jehovah; Be courageous and strong of heart. Yes, hope in Jehovah.

Praying with passages of the scripture cannot be over emphasized. The bible talks about we commanding God by His words. The fact that the author included prayers and suitable bible passages that can be easily prayed is wonderful.

I love talking to God in my own words and also speaking and claiming the promises of God into my life. I love Psalm 91 prayer for God's protection and Psalm 121. The Lord is my shade, the sun shall not smite me by day nor the moon by night and doesn't slumber nor sleep. The creator of the universe!

Have any of you found a verse that has helped you during a crisis, or possibly found inspiration from the verses provided to use in your life?
One of the scriptures I focused on throughout my chemotherapy journey was Hebrews 12:12,13: "Strengthen your feeble arms and week knees. Make level paths for your feet so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed."
Another was 2 Corinthians 12:9: " He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

I find that when negative thoughts come, it's good to have scripture memorized to put in its place :)

Reading the Bible verses in the book gave me a connection with God and I enjoyed reading them. I also loved the prayers included at the end of each section.

Whenever I pray, I pray straight up to God. I raise all my fears and doubts to him and let him erase them and feel his presence.

:techie-reference: A definite verse that stands out and that is applicable in any situation is Psalm 91:1-3. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the noisome pestilence.

:no-spoil: Another verse that is applicable is Psalm 91:11-15: For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

8) Another verse that is applicable is Colossians 2:2-3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
