Particular Bible verses to help you (from the book)?

My favorite is psalm 27: 14 here says: hope in Jehovah; Be courageous and strong of heart. Yes, hope in Jehovah.

Praying with passages of the scripture cannot be over emphasized. The bible talks about we commanding God by His words. The fact that the author included prayers and suitable bible passages that can be easily prayed is wonderful.

I love talking to God in my own words and also speaking and claiming the promises of God into my life. I love Psalm 91 prayer for God's protection and Psalm 121. The Lord is my shade, the sun shall not smite me by day nor the moon by night and doesn't slumber nor sleep. The creator of the universe!

I never truly memorized any particular scripture or verse but you have inspired me to go back and read more of Bible wonderful scriptures.

Reading the Bible verses in the book gave me a connection with God and I enjoyed reading them. I also loved the prayers included at the end of each section.

Whenever I pray, I pray straight up to God. I raise all my fears and doubts to him and let him erase them and feel his presence.

A definite verse that stands out and that is applicable in any situation is Psalm 91:1-3. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the noisome pestilence.

Another verse that is applicable is Psalm 90:1-2: Lord thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
