Crossfire take its. Its characters were well developed and you could feel it wished it had a movie version too

CROSSFIRE!! I'm currently escaping my reality and Gideon Cross is just soooo yummalicious. I want my very own, but it's okay if I can only get him on paper. Isn't Eva such a lucky girl?red_velvet_girl7 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2016, 14:52 Fifty Shades of Grey was the novel that introduced me to the Erotica Genre, but I didn't like it that much. Few Months later when I came across Bared to you, saying I was hooked is a huge understatement.
While there are some similarities between the two series, I personally think that Crossfire Series is way way wayyyy better than Fifty. Crossfire Series is simply UNPUTDOWNABLE. And Gideon Cross *sigh*
Whenever I feel like escaping my reality I start reading one of the Crossfire novel.

You haven't partaken of the crossfire? You are so missing out.
I feel like forcing you to read them. Just sit there until you8finished all of them.

I enjoyed both series but make my own fantasy pictures in my head. The movie did Fifty Shades no justice. The books were way better. Gideon is a babe in my head though. So if I had to choose today I would say Fifty Shades. Ask me next week and Gideon could get the vote.
I remember how much Fifty shades caused a buzz when it came out. Then everyone who couldn't read wanted to try out the movie.
Someone asked me, "is this what you guys have been going on about for months?"
I couldn't believe how bad the movie was. Totally took the essence of the story out and some other crucial aspects.
People should stop converti g books into movies

I loooove Lora Leigh's books, but hers are more erotica than romance and Dominance/Submission is a running theme with her.Jennifer Allsbrook wrote: ↑13 Dec 2016, 19:43 I have been reading erotic fiction for a long time and I enjoyed both Fifty Shades and the Crossfire series. EL James and Sylvia Day have very different writing styles but the substance of their stories are similar. Gideon is sexier than Christian but both these damaged men reach into the woman inside me and make me want to comfort them. Isn't that the purpose of these romantic and erotic stories...to connect to the woman inside of us that stays repressed and suppressed by everyday life? Other authors that excel in this genre include Lorelei James, Lora Leigh, Emma Holley, Lori Foster, Maya Banks...to name just a few. I encourage woman to explore by reading or even writing this type of fiction.
I know I can always count on her whenevr the mood for such strikes me.

sneller30 wrote: ↑08 Feb 2017, 23:16 I also have read both of the series. I liked both of them, and am in the same boat where fifty was my first book of this kind. I LOVED the first 4 books of the crossfire series. I like the characters better and it was overall a better series. I felt like the 5th book was a let down. The series could have been ended better. This is the only part where i believe that fifty shades is better. we were able to have a better conclusion to the story. That being said I would recommend the crossfire series to anyone.
I also felt like the story was rushed to complete towards the end of the fifth book. I wouldn't mind one more book though to complete crossfire well. Just to see what's happening in their lives now

If possessive, powerful, rich and dominant alpha males are your thing, check out "Monster in his eyes" series. I was swooning for days after reading them.
If crossfire was poorly written I can't wait to get my hands on "Monster In his eyes" . Who's the author?

Most definitely! Lora Leigh and Maya Banks are two of the best erotic fiction authors. I also recommend Evangeline Anderson.
I have never heard of Evangeline Anderson. I'll be chechking her work out though. Thanks for sharing .
