That's sad!!! And for two reasons:

1. You are missing some GREAT movies!! Casablanca, Citizen Kane, It Happened One Night, An Affair To Remember and sooooooo many more.

2. I was born in 1990, according to you I'm OLD!!!

I grew up in the 70's and 80's and the television in those days was filled with old movies which were definetely before my time. I loved seeing so many films from the 50's and 60's - even films from earlier as well. This was a real education for me in films and society. It was the "Golden Age of Hollywood and British Cinema". Was an introduction to all the big stars - Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford etc.
So so many great movies - Cleopatra, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, The Longest Day, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and many many more. In fact in the 70's and 80's terrestrial TV had the whole catalogue of older movies. When it came to films the TV then was predominantly comprised of older movies and it was great!!

I love old movies too! Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was a good one, so was A Street Car Named Desire. The most recent old movie I saw was Shawshank Redemption. It was pretty long, but worth it. My favorite old movie has to be The Blues Brothers. I also love black and white horror movies! They're not that scary, but the music and everlasting suspense is classic. I've been wanting to see the old 1939 movie, Of Mice and Men. The book was fantastic!!

I love old movies as well. Breakfast with Tiffany's is a classic. Good old black and white movies are fun to watch on a quiet afternoon.

Film noir is such an amazing genre that I love seeing reflected in books. Being able to draw parallels between literary and cinematic material is always so enjoyable.

I grew up watching movies like Singing in the Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and old John Wayne films. Most of the time I think those films are better than a lot of the ones made today.

I love old movies! I'm currently watching Schindler's List but taking my time as it is 3 hours long. I've watched Audrey Hepburn's famous Breakfast at Tiffany's but not her Roman Holiday.

There are older movies like,'The good, the bad and the ugly,For a few dollars more, The seven Samurai and 12angry men..those movies still can watch with the same intensity when watch it the first time..
