Haha yeah in Old School Vince Vaughn says "I know a great sand guy, we can get wall to wall sand"... which to a bunch of 22 year olds sounds like the best idea ever. We put plastic down and shoveled it in by hand, filling our entire living room. Great times...
I just can't imagine how you guys reacted to that sand in the living room the next morning >.<

Well we just laughed and took some more pictures... then shoveled it all out the sliding glass door. Then rented a shampoo vacuum. It's a great memory... no regrets.

(Yes i'm bringing old threads back. We need life in this forum. Wheres the laughs i ask you?)

At my brothers wedding i drank way too many long island iced teas and my mum locked me in her car so i wouldnt act stupid (I'm a happy giggly drunk. so i pretty much love everyone when i'm drunk.) plus i was 17 so.. yea. I panicked, didnt know how to unlock the door and called absolutely everyone on my cell phone (including my grandmother who wasnt very happy that her granddaughter had been drinking...) crying begging people to help me because i couldnt figure out how to unlock the door. My best friend drove over, showed me what to do through the window, and i ran out as fast as a drunk teenager can laughing hysterically. When my mum found me i was passed out in a empty parking lot that was half a mile away from the reception..

The last time i was drunk i left the widow open while it was snowing because i was alone and wanted to make a snowman to keep me company, but it was too cold for me to go outside. Matt came home in the morning to a foot of snow in this patch on his bedroom floor with two balls in the middle because i fell asleep before i could finish the snowman.

I don't drink anymore. But my favorite trick was leaving my cell phone 1. in the freezer 2. in a pair of pants that
I eventually washed and dried. 3. at "the other woman's" apartment. Sometimes my gf would call my cell before
I had a chance to retrieve it. If "the other woman" answered it, this usually meant taking up residence with "the other
woman" until my gf forgave my indiscretion. Occasionally, my gf found forgiveness impossible. And my life had a
new set of circumstances to consider.

My drinking days are over, except for a daily Tecate. Ive done stupid things while drunk in my younger days. One stupid thing was the first time I ever got drunk. I was in San Diego in the Navy, and a couple friends and I got some wino to get us some booze as we were underage. We told him to go in a liquor store and get us something good and get something for himself. He came out with three pints of sloe gin, said it was good stuff. We went to a theatre to see Moby Dick and sat up in the balcony and proceeded to drink this stuff. Next thing I knew I was in the theatre lobby puking my guts out. They kicked us out. I never did see all of Moby Dick until it was on TV years later.

Another really stupid thing I did was when I was in my 20's. I was with a friend and his wife in Salt Lake and we had to drive to Spanish Fork which is about 80 miles south from Salt Lake. I had the bright idea hey lets stop at every bar on the right side of the road and have a beer until we get to Spanish. We got about to Provo and we were really poo-poo faced by then. Theres a lot of bars on that road. I shudder when I think of driving all that way as drunk as we were. I dont remember anything after Provo. Its a wonder we made it the shape we were in. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I have outgrown that part of my life as well with a little help from my fiancee. I used to drink and do drugs 3 to 4 nights a week during my uni years. When I met Hades, for some reason she took me on as a project and got me on the straight and narrow. When I ask her about it she says that she could see the "real me" underneath all the crap. I owe alot to her, who knows maybe even my life.

The last time I was drunk was about a month ago when out for a leaving party for a workmate, i really enjoyed it but Im almost 31 yrs old and I just dont have the same need or capacity to get blind drunk anymore, It took me nearly 3 days to get over that and I only had a few pints! I still love a social drink and dancing but getting hammered is also something which doesnt really thrill me anymore, its more a teenagers game.

I can honestly say I have never in my life set out to get drunk, that's not to say I haven't had a couple too many on occasion! I like to enjoy a few drinks in good company & that rosy glow the world gets after a couple of glasses of Red or a Vodka & Tonic or two ..... just enough to make me think I can sing without causing a stampede for the door.

I'm quite capable of making a fool of myself without any alcohol ... unfortunately

Thats some story, Gannon. You were one of the lucky ones. So many people on that crap come to a bad end.

Hehe, I have gotten drunk twice in my life. One time it wasn't in purpose- I drank a little glass of red wine on an empty stomach and the second was on a family event- my grandma annoyed me so much, and I wanted to calm down. I said stupid things and made my parents feel ashamed of me.
I don't support drinking alcohol when you are mad, but on this time, it pretty calmed me down XD.

These stories are so very funny! No, I've never been drunk. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like.
