While I'm not usually one for red hot romance or erotic scenes, the action and mystery in the story is extremely appealing to me. I willing to give the book a try, although I agree the normalization of sexual harassment will probably be irritating. No one should have to go through that and consider it normal.

This sounds like an exciting, if flawed, romance with plenty of drama and interesting characters. I may give this one a look. Thanks for the great review, rita. :techie-studyingbrown:

Even though the normalisation of sexual assault and overdone erotic scenes sound a little troubling but I still would like to read this book and give my own opinion about it. Thank you for your honest review.

Hmm. A good romantic adventure is always fun, but the normalizing of rape and this perfect character that shouldn't be with the main character... I'm not sure I can overlook these things. Thank you for this very insightful review!
Happy reading! :techie-studyingbrown:

Blue-eyed knights in shining armor and damsels in distress are not my cup of tea, but I did enjoy your review. It sounds like this book has some problems and needed a content editor. Thanks!

This may not be a comfortable read for me. seemingly there are too many sex scenes that may not be essential to pass out the theme. Thanks for the good and detailed review.

The story of Seryna and her romantic knight in armour sounds a bit like a historical romance, however, I am not sure of the era. Possibly medieval or later, I'm not sure yet. This sounds entertaining for lovers of romance spliced with some action and adventure. Her noble saviour does sound almost too good to be realistic, but I am sure this is a romantic fantasy that will be enjoyed by lovers of this genre. Perhaps after some more editing then this will be even more enjoyable to read. Your review was concise and informative to read.

This is a book I have no interest in. A knight in shining armour that saves the damsel in distress is a used and cheap plot.

Not only is current book written in my most disliked genre, it also has such a low average rating, that even if I could have find it in myself to got interested in romance storyline, I am really not sure it would have been worth it to give it try and read it. And it considering that it is given for free. No offense, just my honest opinion.

Thanks for your honest review. You mentioned a number of issues, like the normalization of rape culture and the unrealistic characters, that made me realize this book is not one I would enjoy.

I agree with the rating of this book and the criticisms that you pointed out are valid as well. I think that the issues that you highlighted are important to point out because sexual harassment and rape are never justifiable. I also believe that the grammatical errors took away from the overall enjoyment of the story. In a book such as this one, the male love interest should not be made to be perfect since humans are not perfect.

Reading about a wonderful, knight-in-shining-armor men is generally only enjoyable if they're believable. This guy sounds too good to be true. It also sounds like there ends up being too many explicit scenes for my taste.

I definitely think that when I read this book, I'll have the same reaction as you did. Although I do love thrilling romances, I feel like the concerns you pointed out will put me off a bit. Awesome review!
