Re: Today

The most extraordinary, unbelieveable thing happened to me today .... I actually went to work & left my book behind me on the kitchen worktop! :shock: :shock:
Can you believe that, it has never, ever happened to me before. Today was the longest day of my life :oops:

It wasn't today, but a couple of days ago I was at the Doctors. Sometimes you have to wait for ages to be seen so I always take a book if I have to go. When the nurse called me in I left my book in the waiting room. When I came back there was this nice old lady reading it. I felt so bad telling her it was my book and did not belong to the surgery. I would have left it for her but it was one of my Rome books. She said it was very interesting. :D

@Fran

WHAT THE....... you left your book at home. Fran what are you doing, are you feeling ok? If it happens again maybe you should see your doctor, you may be coming down with something. :D

Did pretty much the same today as yesterday. Dog got me up, had corn flakes and mango for breakfast, learned a new Spanish word today, Kola Loka pegamento. It means Krazy glue. I had to go buy some to fix a broken guitar.Went to the neighbors and swapped more lies, brought Digger my outside dog home, he stays at the neighbors more than he stays here. I have to bring him home to eat, hes too dumb to come home on his own. Same old boring stuff, not much different from yesterday. Tomorrow will be an exciting time for me, gophers have dug in under my bathroom cabinet so I will have to deal with that. I will be sure to post every exciting detail about that tomorrow. I think I need to get a life.

My husbands a boxer so he trains everyday. I have twenty pounds to lose to get back to my specific weight and tone my shape up again. So he seems perfect to train me, right? Nope. He's harder on me because I am his wife and gives him a chance to laugh at me for a few hours everyday haha. But I sliced my foot open on broken mirror last night and everytime I step down at all today it reopens and bleeds EVERYWHERE. Ugh. So he had to give me a little break today. Happy for the break. But oh so pained by my foot. :( today sucks.

Haha thanks for the tip Ant but trust me us females have a few tricks up our sleeves.. :wink:
Women have to make the men think its their idea. Matthew is extremely easy. All I have to do is pout while biting the side of my lip, give him big squirrel eyes while sniffling at the right time and say "no baby its okay, I'll get it..." And he runs all over the house to make sure I'm comfortable.
Putty in my hand. :mrgreen:

So obviously Mike I have NO idea what your talking about... :lol:
But yea Ant, it is disgusting.

Wow, Laci. You must be accident prone. Every time you post on here you have done some kind of damage to yourself.

I had an interesting day. Its been raining hard today, cant complain we really need it. But this old house leaks everywhere. Water is coming in under the walls, through the bedroom roof. Ive been busy with a mop and buckets trying to keep from being washed away. Then on top of that, my propane tank ran out. I had to hook a full one up in the pouring rain, then lay in the mud to re-light my water heater. Sometimes life sucks.

I need to do that. The beach is within walking distance, but the wind is a little cool for a dip.

I went out and had breakfast this morning, had a killer Aztec omelet that was enough for two people. I just had a mango for dinner, I needed something light after that.

Hi BH, the closest beach to us is about 30 to 40 km away. Man I would love to have a beach within walking distance, but I suppose ours are not that far away. It is starting to heat up here and perfect for a swim. I love a good omelet but Bh could you please tell me what an "Aztec" omelet is? :D
