I am glad we were asked to review a romance novel with interesting characters. I have read a the first few chapters of the book and the official review and I will finish the book. The official review did a great job on this book and sales should be booming!

Well, the plot is very captivating and thoughtfully put in a piece of paper. Although I find it hard to normalise rape especially between friends. Under the influence of alcohol or not, it is not on. Otherwise I hope the author will rectify the errors pointed out in the OBC review.

"One moment you feel like you have the answers to everything. A perfect life. Knowing what you are doing, where you are going, and what the future holds. But then everything can change in the blink of an eye. You start questioning everything you have ever known."
The storyline seems ok. Maybe a book i would be interested in reading. Seryna seems to work very hard and i like that quality about her.

This book sounds unique but I'm unable to accept the facts mentioned in it. So, I'd probably skip it. Nice review.

I do not mind stories with steamy and hot sexual scenes; in fact, I believe that it can made a book more interesting if conducted correctly. However, it seems that this book overuses them. Sadly, I think that I will pass. Thanks for the great review!

I totally understand what you are saying. Sometimes romance novels make it too dreamy or too erotic but fail to keep the story interesting and relatable.

Thank you for your thoughtful and honest review. I just read through the Prologue and there were at least 10 grammar and spelling mistakes. Plus, the date rape scene is not something that I can deal with. I don't care if the guy was drunk and no matter how many times he apologized after, this is not okay and should never be normalized. This mystery guy feels off to me. He seems very controlling and I get weird mix of Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey vibe from it. This one is not for me.

I'm attracted to the fact that this book is not your average love story due to the plot twists.

I don't fancy books with erotic content that much, especially when it has too much of it, more than necessary. The book is still great to read. Thanks.

Great review! I agree with the reviewer that no one can be as faultless and perfect as the Kieran Black character is painted to be. Also, whilst a mix of thrilling adventure & action can suit me easily, I'm not pleased by overbearing sex scenes in a romantic story. It would however, be nice to see the way Seryna deals with the hard truths she's faced with.
Congrats on BOTD still!
