I agree. 9/11 was a horrible day with such a huge impact on our wonderful country and the world.Geneen Karstens wrote:9/11 today. I'll never forget where I was or what I was doing anymore than I could ever forget the day President Kennedy was assassinated. Sad day.

Christopher Stevens, as well as 3 State Department employees. President Obama has vowed to "bring the perpetrators
to justice." What's that mean Mr. President? If you want my vote in November, you better get busy. Here's an option
I like: Drone Benghazi until there's nothing left. Not a goat, a mosque, an arab, nothing. Start listening to your
constituency. It comes with the territory.

I'm reminded of a quote from Kahil Gibran ...
Ay, and he falls for those ahead of him,
who though faster and surer of foot,
yet removed not the stumbling stone.
A world is born again that never dies.

9/11 of this year. It should never have happened. Given the conditions on the ground,( something very close to anarchy,
the arms bazaar is alive and well), it's incredulous that the American State Department would have assigned any of
their representatives there. Especially someone with a profile like an ambassador. Contrast the protections afforded
Chris Stevens(4 Navy SEALS; I would include "Libyan Security Personnel", but they're part of the problem) with those
of Jerry Bremer(our first Ambassador in post-invasion Iraq). Bremer didn't go anywhere without a cadre of Blackwater
bodyguards next to his person and a Company of Army Rangers on his perimeter.
Americans have not been welcome in Libya since 1969, when Qaddafi took over and threw us out.(Actually, we've never
been welcome. But some, like Armand Hammer, were tolerated. Hammer was the American oilman who ran the Libyan
oil economy for Qaddafi's predecessor, King Idris). What made Obama think that Libya was safe enough for us to have
an Embassy there, fully staffed? The "Arab Spring" won't stop Libyans(or islam) from hating us. The only thing Libyans
hate more than COL Qaddafi is America. Last year, rebel forces found Qaddafi's hideout and executed him. And this year, on 9/11, ........ So Obama, what gives? I know you're young and inexperienced Mr. President; that can't be helped. But I would never have guessed you were stupid.
You're a Harvard grad. What happened?
