What makes me mad is all the news about wars, idiotic protests, murders, rapes and other negative crapola. Why dosent the news media ever have anything positive to say? People have a right to know all the bad s--- thats coming down, but there should be some good news too. There must be a few good things that are happening. Maybe not many, but it would be nice to hear something uplifting for a change.

Hmmm....well.......somebody here in WI just got his 9th DUI...so, it's good news that it wasn't his 10th. Yet.

I've been sick for the last six weeks. Primarily a sinus infection, but I got a chest cold and a bladder infection as nice little bonuses. Just starting to feel like a human being again.
and...
my mom bought the duplex next to hers and it turned out to be in waaaaay worse shape than she'd thought. So she's a financial disaster, and I still haven't gotten all the paint out of my hair. We're finally getting on top of it, though.
and...
One of my guinea pigs was pregnant when I bought her. She's not pregnant any more...the babies are cuuuuute!
so....
Nothing really horrible. But. Right before all this stuff happened, I watched that damn Psyched by the 4-d Witch youtube clip. Coincidence? I think not. Okay, mmmmaaaaybe the movie didn't impregnate my pig, but...the babies do have kinda reddish eyes, in the right light...

BTW, Gary, I never got an email from you... ??
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Sorry to hear that, Crusher. Those sinus infections can be murder. Ive had one for a while the only thing that relieves it is eating hot peppers. By the way, Congrats on becoming a grandmother.

I was being sympathetic .... that's why I asked if your affairs were in order, wouldn't want you having that extra worry while you are coping so manfully with such a debilitating illness.
Come on pull yourself from your death bed & I'll get Mike to set you up a large brandy & port (purely for medicinal reasons) in the online pub

@ Ant, get an 8 oz. glass, put in a little honey and lemon and fill it with whiskey and slug it down. A couple of those and you will be in the pink. Home-made Nyquill, it works every time for me.

What made me mad today I had to go to the store and spend money. Prices get higher and the money gets smaller.

Feeling a tad better today but I will keep your homemade remedy in mind for next time, thanks BH ( I might try it a couple of times without the honey and lemon like Fran suggests, just in case that works  )

Hey Ant I feel for ya buddy. I have exactly the same thing. Been coughing so much that yesterday I started coughing up blood. Spent last night in the hospital just for observation and this morning I am home and still feeling really sick to be honest. I just cannot stop coughing, my throat is so sore I can barely speak. Hope you are feeling better because this sucks!!! :(
