Matthew Tysz did a great job of writing this book because I found minimal errors and I like how the story doesn't need erotic scenes to be good. My favorite character is Galen because he brings light to the story.
Stay safe! Sending hugs

It was slow at the beginning and some parts can be boring if you're not truly invested in it. But the last quarter of the story takes up pace and I really liked the plot twist

I read this book and rated it 4 out of 4 stars. This book is an exceptional read, it was straightforward and short which made me glue from the beginning till the end. The constant switch of characters helped give the reader a better perspective of each character. Cheers to the author, Mr. Tysz for his commendable character development on this read

I loved this novel. As the first book in the series it really set the scene for the following books. I loved the variety of interesting characters and the addition of magic and fantasy. I thought the author was brilliant at world-building and imagery, I felt totally immersed in the land of Voulhire. I particularly enjoyed the character Galen, his struggles in life and the new life awaiting for him and all the adventure it will contain. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars as there was nothing I didn’t like about it. A real page turner for me.

I really liked the book, I think the world-building in general is quite good and the descriptions are good. I'm not sure how to feel about the links to the author's page in the beginning to explain certain things when they could have been on the book itself, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

I enjoyed the book and gave four out of four. I continued reading the series and now I am on the sixth book. I would recommend this to anyone interested in fantasy books with magic.

This is one of the best sci-fi books I have ever read. I love how the author handled so many characters and kept the story flowing in the right direction. The plot is original and unique.

The author's ability to create suspense in the reader's mind is the thing that I liked most about the novel. There are parts of the novel where you reach and you don't want to stop until you know what comes next. I rated it 4 out of 4 stars because of this.

This book is nice. I thought it would be a simple 3 or 4 part series that one could breeze through. But when I discovered it is to have a total of 9 parts, I wasn't happy. Overall it is a great read. Full of beautiful lessons and we'll edited.

I rated it 2 out 4 stars. It is just because, a lot of information is missing about all the characters except Lord Eldus who was already dead. Although, it is considerable to let things unknown at first because this is a series. It makes the next book more interesting.

I really enjoyed this book and gave it four stars. I think the whole series which this book is part of, is unique and very interesting. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like. The characters are very well presented, each different than the other, but all intertwined in some way. I was really interested to find out what is happening next with the characters, so I started the second, and the third book from the series. Very talented author with great imagination! I fully recommend this book to all science fiction lovers!
"You can be more aware and more present simply by resting in the present moment, open to all that is, without trying to control it or grasp it with the mind. Truly, a marvelous way of being!"

I gave the book a four-star rating. I enjoyed every aspect of it; especially the multilayered plot. It seemed like each character had a different motive. The suspense kept me glued to the pages.

The first book had alot of information. Introductions of well-developed characters were brought into the story. The novel was intriguing and compelling. I did give it a four out of four star rating. I would recommend it to readers who enjoy sci-fi, mystery and magic. I did not recommend it for children.

I have just finished reading it. I enjoyed the book and will read all the other books in the series. The characters are well developed and interesting, as is the overall storyline. I would like a little more backstory and a smoother transition between storylines. This may only be because I am relatively new to this type of story. However, those things did not ruin the book for me, and I want to read more. My final verdict is 4 stars, I am a fan.
