I can say that the book and the movie aren't the same. The book tells if great animals but the movies takes us back like 100 years before Harry Potter cane into the scene

the book and movie are entirely different and the movie is meh. at least the first was. second was a load of crap. hated it. Depp could have done so much better and Rowling could have brought out a decent plot with enough depth.

Fantastic beasts and where to find them. It was another great story from the jk Rowling. I saw the movie of fantastic beasts. It was similar to Harry potter series. Because the characters appeared in the movie is similar to Harry potter. In these book dumbledore is a young adult boy. When comes to story. A boy who carries a lot of beast animals in his suit case. And has a dream to catch fantastic beasts. In his journey he catch so many beasts. With his wand and some tricks. It was really. An a good story to read and see the movie. And there was a lot of stuff of magic.

I really enjoyed the first two movies. The characters were so much fun and I LOVED the magical creatures! It was fun to see more of the magical world from the "adult" perspective vs. the version in Harry Potter seen through the eyes of children.

I have only seen the movie. I haven't read the book. The movie was very enjoyable. The special effects were excellent. A wonderful, imaginative story.

I wish they hadn’t continued the series after the 7 Harry Potter books. The book and movie were entirely different in my opinion.

I thought the second one sucked. The CGI was good, and some of the characters were okay. but everything else is just absolutely terrible and annoying

I've seen all the movies and I've read the 7 Harry Potter books. I will definitely buy the Fantastic Beast books to read in the near future.

I feel the first one as a cozy movie; the old New York, the aesthetic, the creatures and the dynamic between Newt and Kowalski were one of its strenghts. And although I really find its problematic and the concept of the Obscurial interesting it doesn´t fully seems like the right plot to the protagonist to shine or the rest of the cast gathering. A good movie though. But the second and third... I didn´t really get the second and the third was a little boring. Both of them have great action scenes but very little character development, and it´s also possible to see how a character like Newt without having another catalystic character to interact with can become boring and soulless. Besides both the main romance and the time in the third movie were a leftover; no chemistry in these, like the references to the original movies which were added more like a nostalgia incentive than anything. Still, they are a good movies to analize and discuss.

I hadn't read the book but quite enjoyed the movie. I like seeing characters, maybe my imaginations not that good after all. The movie is quite impressive and i really wanted to go inside Salamander's that briefcase
