The last few days I've had to lower myself to reading twilight (the horror!!) Seeing as I've read all of my other books thousands of times. So I ordered five more books online and I can't wait for them to get here to save me from my boredom and the devastating fact that I'm low enough to have to read insipid books that I hate with a passion..
So excited for new books! Yay!!

Husband, travel, reading and time to do it. Wonderful.laci_baby wrote:It actually depends on what the book is. If its classic or an older book it tends to take a good week, and more often than not a few weeks, to finish a book. Not that I dislike them, I love them. Ayn rand books take forever, even though I adore her. Its just that they make me stop and think and it takes a while. Not to be disrespectful at all, but the more simplistic written books I tend to get through in a night. All of the books lately have been started some time during the day and finished before I go to bed. I don't work anymore because my husband's career bops him around a lot and it wouldn't be possible to have my steady job and be able to be with my husband (recently moved to Puerto Rico for his job). So I have a lot of time to read now.
I work full time at the moment, have 2 kids, one husband and a dog. Probably why I am flat out reading a book a month at present.

What is Peerto Rico likes, sounds very exotic

Its beautiful and a bit exciting. He's a total control freak and extremely over protective so I feel like I'm in a bubble most of the time because I can't leave the house without him until we're both more accustomed to where we live. But we're going to Rincon tomorrow evening and hopefully we'll get to see more of the sites and have a little adventure.

It was cool last night BH. This morning, not so much. I don't think the council should be working on the roads with jackhammers outside our house on a Sat morning.Bighuey wrote:Thats cool, Gannon. Party on!!!

I'm still sick! I don't like it! We didn't even get to go on our little adventure we had planned because of it. Stupid flu..
I'm forcing myself to get better. I'm spending the day stuffing myself with day quil and watching chick flicks. Nothing but soup and juice again. I have to get over this so I can go to Rincon and snorkel!!!
