Re: Today

Not much today, dug out some weeds, watched a couple guys put up a power pole next to my house, work fascinates me. Watching it, not doing it. I read some, took a nap and not much else.

Lucky you Prim. :)

The last few days I've had to lower myself to reading twilight (the horror!!) Seeing as I've read all of my other books thousands of times. So I ordered five more books online and I can't wait for them to get here to save me from my boredom and the devastating fact that I'm low enough to have to read insipid books that I hate with a passion..
So excited for new books! Yay!! :D

I cant imagine having read all the books in my shelves. I dont seem to get as much reading time as I would like obviously. As for rereading??? Out of interest Laci, how many books a week would you read???

It actually depends on what the book is. If its classic or an older book it tends to take a good week, and more often than not a few weeks, to finish a book. Not that I dislike them, I love them. Ayn rand books take forever, even though I adore her. Its just that they make me stop and think and it takes a while. Not to be disrespectful at all, but the more simplistic written books I tend to get through in a night. All of the books lately have been started some time during the day and finished before I go to bed. I don't work anymore because my husband's career bops him around a lot and it wouldn't be possible to have my steady job and be able to be with my husband (recently moved to Puerto Rico for his job). So I have a lot of time to read now. :(

I dug out more weeds, thats a never-ending job here. Found this funky looking purple plant growing in my garden spot, Ill let it go to see what the hell the thing turns out to be. Read Mary Shellys Life and Letters for a while, hope to finish it tomorrow after digging out more weeds.

Husband, travel, reading and time to do it. Wonderful.
I work full time at the moment, have 2 kids, one husband and a dog. Probably why I am flat out reading a book a month at present. :D :D
What is Peerto Rico likes, sounds very exotic :D

Prim- I'm a workaholic so I dont like the home aloneness very much. I went from eighty plus hours a week to nothings very quickly. It's driving me crazy. We were planning on me continuing to work while he was away but quickly realized it would drive us crazier being away from eachother for any length of time. We have cats to keep me company while he's at work during the day or I'm sure I'd go nuts being stuck in the house all day by myself haha.
Its beautiful and a bit exciting. He's a total control freak and extremely over protective so I feel like I'm in a bubble most of the time because I can't leave the house without him until we're both more accustomed to where we live. But we're going to Rincon tomorrow evening and hopefully we'll get to see more of the sites and have a little adventure. :D

Found out today that two of our best friends are going to be in town tonight. They are crashing at our place and tonight is going to be great. We all love a good drink and Hades and I have not seen them for about two years since they moved to Sydney. In fact there plane should be landing very soon. Whoooooohoooooo. Massive hangovers for everyone tomorrow. :( :(

It was cool last night BH. This morning, not so much. I don't think the council should be working on the roads with jackhammers outside our house on a Sat morning. :(

Atleast you had fun Gannon. That's great.

I'm still sick! I don't like it! We didn't even get to go on our little adventure we had planned because of it. Stupid flu..
I'm forcing myself to get better. I'm spending the day stuffing myself with day quil and watching chick flicks. Nothing but soup and juice again. I have to get over this so I can go to Rincon and snorkel!!!
