I downloaded a sample of this book and wow, I couldn’t put it down. This is a definite next read. As I read about Cooper and Coupes differences and how they were seen by others, it awed me that the superpower thing came to light. Just the first few pages gripped my attention and I can not wait to read more

The sample was very riveting. Started like a regular day at school, but quickly developed into ' must read' and ' what happened next'. Well written.

This looks like an intriguing book about friendship and superpowers. Plus that title is pretty creative. Nice job on the review.

Books that prioritizes family as one of the themes are always interesting to read. I am delighted that the author chose family and friendship as one of the themes. The Omicron Six is a book to look up to. Congrats on BOTD selection

I love that this story focuses on the friendship between Coupe and Cooper, that is one of my favorite things to read about. This sounds like a great book that addresses gray morality but not without humor. I look forward to reading it!

This review has convinced me that I need to go back and finish reading the book. I loved the characters from the sample of the book that I read. I was curious how Endy Wright was going to handle the Coupe's abuse, because the inital few chapters didn't make it seem like Cooper's parents were equipped to handle it. I look forward to going back and seeing what the future holds for the two boys.

Characters with abnormal powers, or superheroes, are interesting as they have usually only been in graphic novels or comics before. Writing a novel about them is tricky, but exploring their characters and private lives gives them an extra depth and they become more than the two dimensional characters that they have been. This book sounds great reading and I will be interested to read how the author handles these "X-Men," so to speak. Your review was very interesting to read.

This sci-fi fiction has a riveting storyline that will be sure to keep the reader engaged. The story navigates the trials of two characters with superpowers who form a strong friendship despite their different backgrounds. I can't wait to find out the origin of the boys powers. Thank you for an interesting review.

An interesting sci-fi novel that has been well written, with characters that will likely capture the heart and imagination of the reader. The scenes are described quite vividly and contain fight scenes, bad language, abuse and molestation. I was thankful for the humor when reading the sample. It is not easy to read what some people can do to a child. It appears the main topic of the book is genetic engineering, a contemporary subject that young people and adults will need to be more aware of.

I appreciate this extremely well-written review, and the book quote.

High praise for this YA/coming-of-age science-fiction novel. Two teenagers each dealing with their own problems and finding themselves with superpowers to support and defend each other. They prove you can fight darkness with light and that family is more than just DNA/blood-related. Great review!
